I don’t know if they “felt” fast but they did not look fast
They were not
Weight don’t measure hustle.
I want to see Vog bulldoze a catcher if that was still allowed

Kirk did his part by staying off the bases.
You can time them with a sundial.
As Tommy Lasorda would say, if Kirk or Vogelbach raced a pregnant woman to 1st base. Two people would beat them.
Kirk is slow, but is less injury prone than Jansen. Can’t run, if you can’t play.
On the double play ball Kirk hit into with Vogelbach on first, the O’s could have thrown to 3rd, to home, to first to second and still got them both
