  1. The indoor/outdoor thing is overblown. I’ll say the bad weather/winter weather does impact him though, maybe more than others.

But the GB and TB games last year were stellar games by Goff, particularly TB when we had no run game. If not for Monty’s 3 TDs in GB, Jared probably would’ve racked up more for himself that game. Iirc aside from that interception on the first drive, he was damn near surgical (as per usual for JG).

With that said, I don’t expect the SF game in December to be an issue unless maybe it’s raining. The GB game in November is a question mark. The Chicago game in December is gonna be rough *but* Caleb is a Cali kid, too. I don’t think he’s going to overly excel in the Chicago winds and snow at first either. Justin Fields actually at least was used to it from OSU.

So basically what I’m saying is 17-0 incoming.

  2. It’s the week 5 bye and the short turnaround into Thanksgiving at home

    Not the dome thing

  3. That week 16 game at Chicago is gonna be a hard match up. Cold weather, good defense. Not looking forward to it

  4. Honestly, Goff concerns me less than the defense. Every Lions defense I’ve ever watched seems to have a horrible day in the cold/snow. Probably just still reeling for the Panthers game a couple years ago, but the Eagles snow game and letting McCoy destroy us lingers too.
