wrong I had them winning this game tonight and nothing that I have seen in this series or at least over the last three games made me believe that the Minnesota Timol were going to blow out the Denver Nuggets by 45 points 45 points 45 points shout out to Saudi 45 points is what just happened and the minute that the Denver Nuggets went on that 90 run and then the uh Minnesota the Timol responded with that 90 run it was a wrap it was a wrap because it was a 90 run then it was 110 Run next thing you know was an a 20 run and I’m like well what the hell is going on the Denver Nuggets couldn’t even buy a basket and I’m GNA get on Jamal Murray in a second I’mma get on Jamal Murray in a second but we got to give it up to the Minnesota Tim bolves tonight because they did not lay down in that game and if you were listening to Richard Jefferson who was calling the game he said that the hardest game to win in the playoff series is a closeout game he said the hardest game to win in a playoff series is a closeout game so we got to give the props to the Minnesota Timberwolves they did not lay down uh they fought back uh other teams would have would have just basically collapsed and capitulated and G given into the pressure of the defending champs I thought that the Denver Nuggets were going to were going to beat them I thought the Minnesota Timol were going to be emotionally distraught but that was not the case and they were led by their best player in uh uh Anthony Edwards Anthony Edwards is a bad boy and after they lost that game in game five he was the one that was essentially saying we got this we got this we we coming back to the crib we got this there’s G to be a game seven so shout out to him because when you’re a part of that team and you see your best player showing that kind of confidence I think is going to I think it energized a lot of those players in in in a little of fire under them like yo if if if we gonna do this exactly see you in game seven if this is the type of time that he’s on and if he believes it then we believe it let me see with this uh matd James uh he said Joker gets MVP but can’t even play defense SGA or AE uh deserved it more appreciate the appreciate the um appreciate the comment and appreciate the Super Chat uh I would respond in a way that I’m thinking like you know this is what happens in sports man you know a team wins and wins one or two games it’s the greatest play in the world and they lose then all of a sudden SGA deserved the MVP I’m not sure we could say that because SGA is down 3-2 or two yeah 3-2 to the to the to the Dallas Mavericks so I could just turn around and say well he doesn’t deserve to be clearly Joker deserve to be the MVP because look at them they look like they’re on the verge of losing I don’t think it boils down to that if you look at the last game The Joker played nobody in their right mind would have said he doesn’t deserve the MVP and we about to give it give you know give it away because of that the the the the Denver Nuggets did not lose that game because of Nicole yic the Denver Nuggets lost that game and we’re going to give credit to the Minnesota timbl but the Denver Nuggets couldn’t even hit the side of a barn they were horrendous Jamal Murray Jamal Murray after watching Jamal Murray for some games now I’m beginning to realize that Jamal Murray is a very very streaky shooter there is no consistency in this game he can kill you if he gets hot he can definitely hurt you but if he gets cold he can definitely shoot you out of a game if I’m looking at the box score right now Jamal Murray finished that game with 10 points in 32 minutes and he shot 22.2% from the field 22.2% I was listening to Kendrick Perkins during the halftime show and I’m hearing that Jamal Murray hasn’t even scored 20 points in any of these games this series not even 20 points not even 20 points in any of these games so he was horrendous uh cavius Carell po po he didn’t play well uh Aaron Gordon had 12 points Michael Porter junr couldn’t score anything Michael Porter Jr shot 33% from the three uh uh and and and the Denver Nuggets as a team what did they shoot from the three they shot 19.4% from the floor from the three-point line 19.4 so they out of the 36 attempts that they took from the three-point line they only made Seven you’re going to be pretty hard pressed to win a game like that now we just had the gentleman basically say that Nicole didn’t deserve the MVP well I’m looking at the Nico aic’s box score he finished the game with 22 points nine rebounds two assists on 47% shooting which is a drop off 0.4 from the Z 0% from the from the three 100% from the freeo line he had three turnovers but his running mate and the second best player on that team had 10 points 10 points 10 Jamal Murray scores another 10 points they lose by 30 35 instead of what uh 45 whatever the hell they lost by so the Denver Nuggets played a bad game but I want to give credit to the Minnesota Timol because this game is about the Minnesota Timol I don’t want to be about like the media where one team loses or one team wins and we spend the whole day talking about oh why didn’t the opposing team do that no let’s give the Minnesota Timol some love and I want to focus on them for a second Alonzo white shout out to you he said got to give got to give some love today I mentioned at the beginning of the live hey hey guys let’s try to get these likes up to 150 likes appreciate that as I mentioned at the beginning of this live the Minnesota timbles were sparked by Anthony Edwards and it didn’t start tonight he sparked this team after they lost game six because he walked off the court talking to Jamal Murray talking to people in the stands like we gonna see y’all in game seven there will be a game seven that that is that takes a supreme level of confidence in your ability not just yourself but also your team to essentially guarantee a game seven and if that is what he said in public I can only imagine what he was saying in private and as a team if you see your best player pumping up his chest like that with that level of self-belief obviously you’re gonna be hyped obviously you’re going to believe that your team can actually pull it off and that’s exactly what they did so I want to start off with Anthony Edwards Anthony Edwards and he’s not the only one but Anthony Edwards finished that game with 27 points on uh eight of 17 shooting from the field so that was pretty good 2 7 points only 17 shots to do it so he was very very efficient on 47% shooting from the field 44% from the three he made four out of his nine threes along with that he was efficient from the free throw line shooting 87% and he got you what four rebounds and only one turnover now what is important to note about this game is although Anthony Edwards only finished with 27 points he played 33 minutes and they basically took him out for the entire fourth quarter had that been a closer game Anthony Edwards could have probably dropped a 40 piece he could have probably dropped a 40 piece in that game so don’t let those numbers deceive you he was on Pace to score 40 it’s just that the the the the wolves and their head the head coach took them out early so he could have even had an even bigger game Carl Anthony towns he showed up to a certain uh to a certain degree he had 10 points but he did have 13 rebounds and he had a lot of activity on the defensive side of the floor uh McDaniels had 21 points which was very very good uh and he also had a lot of activity on the defensive side of the floor which played a big role um who else Michael connley played well Mike Conley played well he had 13 points as he made it back into the lineup and they got some good points Off the Bench from Reed uh and Alexander uh what is it Reed and Alexander um I can’t even see the damn name just a second here the bench scoring for the Denver for the Minnesota timbles they scored what 19 23 26 28 points Off the Bench 28 points off the bench and overall three-point shooting I think the Minnesota timbles made 15 out of their 43o attempts 15 out of their 43 Point attempts so they were very efficient they shot 37.5% from the from the from the as a team from the three-point line to me listen I think this game comes down to Denver’s inability to make a shot uh they couldn’t they couldn’t hit a shot and basically this game was lost in the first quarter this game was lost in the first six to eight minutes of the first quarter Once Denver got into that once Denver got into that deficit into that hole after what the first 10 minutes it was over and BAS basically they were playing catch up the rest of the game so I think they lost the game right there right at that point is when the Denver Nuggets lost that game once again you got to give credit to the Minnesota Timol they came out there with a lot of with a lot of energy with a lot of enthusiasm uh they hit them in the mouth and they refus to just run away now what is my prediction going forward well I pick I picked the Denver Nuggets to win this game uh and I’m going to get to Rudy goar in a second I picked the Denver Nuggets to win this game uh game six they didn’t now it’s going to be a game seven on their home floor on Sunday this is a particularly different type of game seven why because this has not been a traditional Series this has been a series where both teams have won games on the road two games on the road both teams have done it which basically proves that either team could win Denver could lose and the Nuggets could definitely win I mean excuse me and the wols could definitely win so would I be surprised if the Minnesota timbles won game seven yes and no yes or no yes because they they would beat the Champs yes I would be surprised at that but no because we just saw them win two games in this series on the road already in Denver so uh if I had to make a prediction before I think is going to win um I’m going to go with the Denver Nuggets and I’m going to tell you why the reason I’m going with the Denver Nuggets is number one they’re ring Champs and you gotta beat them you I gotta see you beat them number two they’re gonna they’re going to be playing on their home court and that’s why they have that home court advantage and I find it very improbable that the Denver Nuggets would lose um what is it they won what two games on the road one at home they would lose three games at home in one series three games I find that to be highly improbable and also something we need to pay attention to that a lot of people may not talk about or maybe they have but I want to point it out to you guys right now if you look at when the Denver Nuggets won game three from game two to game three they had three days off three days off the nuggets are going to have some pretty good rest now before Sunday because they’re going to have Friday off they’re going to have Saturday off and then the game is on Sunday day so they’re going to have two days and not playing every other night so to me I think the Denver Nuggets are going to be rested I think they’re going to be back in their home court I think they’re going to watch a lot of film and I don’t expect them to shoot as poorly as they did in game seven at home like they just did tonight I don’t expect the Denver Nuggets to go seven out of 30 what they go 7 out of 37 at seven out of 36 uh from the three-point line at home I don’t see that happening I think Jamal Murray is gonna have a bounceback game I think Michael Porter Jr is gonna have a bounceback game and I think Aaron Gordon is going to be pretty solid right so I’m Gonna Roll with the Denver Nuggets in this particular game I’m Gonna Roll with them and I think that the Denver Nuggets are going to close out this series at home at game seven and if they don’t then uh well obviously the season is over over and you got to tip your hat to the to the Minnesota Timol because it would have meant that uh listen they were the best team overall right but to me if I had to make a prediction and I am I’m gonna go with a Denver in game seven so let me ask the audience who y’all who y’all got winning let me ask y’all in the audience who let me just ask y’all real quick who just a second who wins game seven let me say Denver surprised by that but any anyway it’s a close one and I can understand that because it’s been a close Series so in a game seven anything can happen as an NBA fan this will be my first time uh being a part of a game seven rooting for a team I remember when Kobe and the Lakers uh were in a game seven some nail-biting game sevens in 2010 uh they were also in the game seven uh against the Houston Rockets in 2009 that was some very very uh I mean those was a very very difficult periods for me but I’ve been through it emotionally so I think I’ll be prepared for this one but I’mma roll with them damn okay now it’s 5050 5050 that’s interesting so now basically so basically you guys think it’s a coin toss y’all are basic basically saying that anybody can win let me get to Rudy go I was supposed to talk about him let me talk about Rudy goar before I go off uh here what was Rudy goar he had eight points 14 rebounds two assists on 50% shooting from the field he had what 12 defensive rebounds he only had one one turnover did he have any blocks I can’t see it yes and he had okay he didn’t have any block I want to talk about Rudy gobear for a second okay so basically you guys are saying it’s a tosser appreciate you guys voting on that I want to talk about Rudy for a second Rudy Gober you look at the stat sheet his numbers don’t jump out to you eight points 14 rebounds it’s not like as if is Will Chamberlain numbers but if you watch the game you can clearly see that Rudy Gober as a defensive presence on the court deterred and discouraged a lot of shots there were a lot of time when the Denver offense broke down the Wolves defense and they would get into the basket and players would bring that ball right back up out of the right right right away from the rim because of his presence now it doesn’t show up in blocks or anything like that but if you watch the game you could see that his presence on the court as he was anchoring the uh the the defense it played a role it deterred a lot of people also I noticed a switch that they put Carl Anthony Towns at times on uh uh uh Nia yage and basically made Rudy the help Defender now I don’t think that N I don’t think that affected in my personal view I don’t think that necessarily affected Joker uh Yer Joker because he finished the game with a double double I think yeah Joker finished that game what 22 and what 22 and no almost a double double 22 and nine but what I think it did was it affected the other Denver players from from attacking the basket and I think it helped their overall defense so Rudy goar played a better game if you were watching the game you saw them give him a stand in Ovation he played better A lot of people got on him but also also we can also talk about the fact that maybe it was a bad defensive strategy to have him guard Nicole AIC straight up because clearly that wasn’t working clearly that wasn’t working so to me he had a bounceback game good game for them uh y’all thought I wasn’t G to show up for this live I just showed up for like just to show you guys my face I’m I’m about to check out I’m super tired but I definitely got the Denver Nuggets winning in game seven that’s who I think is going to win I could be wrong that’s my pick we pulled the audience 50% of you guys basically think oh basically you guys think is a tossup so these are my thoughts man appreciate you guys
