New Keldon Johnson Trade Rumor

all right so we got some Kellin Johnson news here and is it fake is it real well uh I have an opinion nonetheless I want some n are we having fun yet all right so let’s see here so Hoops wire has some things to say about Kellin Johnson now this is what they had to say this is from Ashish Mo ma uh Kellin Johnson is gonna be traded by the Spurs this summer I think even if you ask Kellin he’d tell you yeah I’m getting traded um and then he goes on to say the Spurs could have made a huge trade at the trade deadline but San Antonio GM Brian Wright was too busy trying to convince Jeremy Sohan who didn’t want to go to go to the Allstar Weekend all right so I got a few problems with this okay so first and foremost I don’t think that there’s any problem when it pertains to someone you know saying that they have sources or um you know especially if they’re credible at all or if they don’t really have a history of just lying you know and being Sensational for no reason um so you know people like and I think I just saw Ty yeah Ty actually uh posted in here as well like people like Tai I really respect Tai Jager a lot um but even myself if I tell you something and I’m like yeah I I got some sources or I heard some like I’m I’m saying it without any type of uh sensationalism I’m not sitting here trying to tell you uh some madeup stuff or or trying to add on to it the reason why I don’t like stuff like this is because initially the claim that Kellin Johnson is going to be traded I think you don’t even really need any sources for that one right I I think most people most spurgers fans would agree and understand after watching this season that yes you have this generational talent in wiim banama more than likely Kellin Johnson is going to be moved right like like yes do I think that this person has no sources whatsoever no I won’t go that far but I will say that any body could have said that but what makes me a little weary with reports like this is when you add on to it and say the GM Bri Wright was too busy trying to convince Jeremy soan not to go to All-Star Weekend it it it seems like one of those claims that no one can really prove you wrong on and it just seems like a a weird abstract detail that just doesn’t really matter but by you tacking that on it makes your reporting seem a little bit more credible than it might have been and otherwise it it it’s just something that just unnecessary right like you if if if we’re coming out and we’re saying this is what we’ve heard that’s what you heard but this whole like he was trying to talk to soan and get him to go to all-star weekend that’s why he couldn’t make a deal is is is insane that that that makes no sense whatsoever and if that is true then I will go as far as to say hey you guys are right Brian Wright is a bad GM cuz that that makes makes no sense to me that that is insane uh to me uh so I can I cannot I cannot get with that one but as far as Just My overall opinions about Kellin Johnson being traded I do think it’s going to happen I’ve heard my own things right like um you I won’t go into that but I have heard my own things it it’s pretty obvious right that he’ll be gone I think even Kellin Johnson himself would say yeah like they say yeah I’m getting traded he he would probably even himself say yeah it’s not necessarily fitting right now um so no hate to Kellin not saying that he’s a bad player or anything he just doesn’t necessarily fit with the Wim banama era and there’s many of times where he’s on the court and it just kind of it’s just a stand steel right like as far as the offense it slows down um it it’s it doesn’t move as as much as it was Prior uh defense just isn’t there on par what we would need right now it just doesn’t make a lot of sense and I can see the Spurs very well or very much so trading away Kellin Johnson um now I wouldn’t necessarily agree with this it would have to be a really great deal for me to agree with this but tradeing W Kellin and the eighth pick I I would really need to see what does that look like um because I would like to hold on to that eighth pick especially since it seems right now it seems that there’s a possibility for you to get Dilly Ron Holland and or buellis right like there there’s no so if that’s possible I don’t see why we would trade it away but we’ll we’ll see we’ll have to wait and see and and see how things go you know 2025 is looking beautiful with dear Rosen saying that he wants to stick with the Chicago Bulls and they will continue to be mediocre so things looking good things looking good uh for the Spurs in that regard uh but as it stands uh right now I I don’t know if I would I would just need to see what it looks like um if that if that reporting is true but yeah reports like this just make me a little worried when you start tagging on details like this cuz there there was no reason even bringing that up that the Spurs could have made a huge traded deadline but he was busy convincing soan it’s like come on it makes the rest of the the claim seem um unreliable but I I will say from what I’ve heard this this this is yeah I think Kellin would be gone um but anyways I give with you guys   13. Love KJ but his game doesnā€™t fit Wembyā€™s style. He would have to always come off the bench and his defense is not the best. You can tell he didnā€™t like coming off the bench.

  16. I heard 4 months ago by a French insider that the spurs were very interested by a French player… Not Sarr, not Risacher…. But Tidjane Salaun… Good work ethic, it seems and good progression. At 8 maybe a steal…. I like Castle and Buzelis too. But with Jones and Wesley at point guard it s not necessary the big need….

  17. Say we draft Zaccharie #4 & both Matas and Rob are available at #8

    I think thereā€™s no way in hell we pass on Matas for a point guard whoā€™s the same size as Tre Jones and may not even translate to the NBA physically

  19. Iā€™m sorry I wish things could workout with keldon but the man just doesnā€™t fit, Iā€™d rather have a scoring and facilitating point guard that canā€™t play defense rather than a wing that canā€™t play defense

  22. I like Keldon's passion, but Keldon seems to have reached his ceiling and will not get better. He seems to carry excess weight and weight issues are bad news.

  25. I honestly like the way you think and all you talk about with the Spurs with the new addition of Wemby and else cause I like the team and is dope .We need to add a couple players and all the teams will have to watch out for the squad .

    When it's clear that we are at 4 & 8 in this draft,
    I hope Spur to make it happen:

    Magic get: Malaki + Graham + Hornet's pick
    Wizard get: Zach + No.8 pick + Bull's pick + 2024 Magic's 2rd pick
    Spur get: Isaac + Avdija

    For Magic,
    Every team knows they are a ticking time bomb.
    They have too many bigmen,
    and too many rookies to extend contracts in few years.
    Including Franz.W & Banchero's Max.
    Graham is good for their cap space.
    Also, we can help them with Hornet's pick for future talents, and Malaki for backup SG who can create his own shoot.
    That's what they lack in playoff this year.

    For Wizard,
    They are looking for another top 10 picks,
    no.8 pick seems a good addition.
    If they land Topic at 2, and get Clingan at 8,
    the starters line could be like this next year:
    Clingan/Zach
    Kuz/MB3
    Bilal
    Pool
    Topic
    And still have 2024 1rd no.26 pick + Magic's 2rd pick.
    They may back to top 5 seeds again in 2025's draft board,
    Bull's pick will help them getting more advantages.

    For Spur,
    This season Wemby is often defending two or more guys at same time, he needs some help.
    Isaac can defend 1 to 5,
    Avdija has solid defense + sneaky-good ISO + a little bit playmaking.
    we will play swishing defense on front court sooooo well.
    Plus, we can also avoid Wemby losing stamina quickly.

    If we go lucky,
    we may have the starters line like this:
    Wemby
    Isaac/ Sochan/mamu
    Avdija/ KJ/Sidy
    Vassell
    Tre
    Plus our own 2024 1st pick to backup

    Even if we finally go for another PG like Garland with Hawk's picks,
    this kind of defensive starters line will make it more acceptable.
