Commanders Have Been Extremely Impressed By Jayden Daniels: “We Have Our Dude”

yo what is up guys it’s Pedro here in today’s video I’ll be going over the report from Jeremy Fowler that says the Washington commanders have been very impressed with jayen Daniels so far during OTAs and rookie mini camp he’s shown significant progress and the commanders think they have that dude at quarterback so we’re going to talk about that and show you guys a bunch of clips from OTAs if you guys are new make sure to subscribe hit that like button and that notification Bell as well we’re close to 13,000 subscribers it’s free and it takes 1 second soe please go ahead and do it and comment down below the player besides jayen Daniels you’re most excited to see this coming season all right so let’s get right into the video and I if my voice sounds a little bit different I am a little bit under the weather but trying to fight through it make this video because it is a good video and an optimistic video I mean hopefully good content but I’m talking about good when I talk about good I’m talking about positive and things that a lot of you guys enjoy and that is Jaden Daniels content and we’ll talk about some of the other rookies as well but it’s mostly going to be jayen Daniels and how the Washington commanders have been you know have been excited about what he has shown so far and you know are excited to see what he can continue to show the rest of this season so Jeremy Fowler was on I think Sports Center and he’s talking about I watched the clip but I don’t want to play it for you guys just because it does have copyright issues but if you go to Brandon here which is jadden Daniels MVP on Twitter shout out to him he has a a clip right here that you guys can watch but basically uh he said that Jayden Daniels has shown significant progress in rookie mini campas per Jeremy Fowler that’s what the commander sources were telling him they’ve been or they’re saying all the right things publicly about how he studies works hard when you talk to people in Washington privately they say we’ve got ourselves a dude Fowler as that Daniels is on track to becoming the starting QB that shouldn’t be a surprise he also said that you know the ball has barely hit the ground during OTAs in mini camp meaning that he’s been very clean they’ve been impressed by his release which is another thing that you know we’ve talked about him versus May which shouldn’t be I mean I guess I shouldn’t really bring it up but that was one of the bigger things that jayen Daniels had over him was his release and then also his speed in general you see Jayden Daniels right here making a or in the process of throwing I didn’t even see he got the jayen Daniels written on his helmet but let’s we’ll go ahead and look at some clips while we talk about him so here about 40 seconds 45 seconds of him throwing shout out to JP Finley here for showing these clips this is rookie mini camp so this is just going to be the rookies and undrafted agers which are rookies that was Luke mcaffrey see Ben s it there running and Sam Hartman throwing to him and then Jaden Daniels throwing to Luke mcaffry which is number 12 hopefully eventually he gets a better number but if he’s a stud he’s going to look good in 12 so there’s Luke mcaffry run it again uh quick out of his break and I think that was jayen Daniels throw to him again we’ll go and play that back real quick let’s see let’s see you can’t really see I guess jayen Daniels making the throw but I mean I guess you can see him for a second but they are makes a throw look McCaffrey catches it and yeah here you see him again dropping back little you know Fay hand off there and throws it to I believe that’s Casmir Allen number 10 who is not a rookie but so I guess it’s not all rookies cuz Casmir Allen is a second-year player but getting some work there he is on the Run throwing a little bit across his body to a coach so see 45 seconds of throws there it’s not a big deal but he looks you know solid there you can see the talent and you know you know the person is not going to be an issue in terms of how he’s preparing for stuff you see this is what Cliff Kingsbury sorry about that what Cliff kingsbery had to say about him he has a plan for studying he has a plan for practicing he has a plan for watching film uh to be the young and or to be that young and come in there with that mindset is really encouraging I agree you also hear about what he did right when he was coming back from the press conference on the plane he was calling out plays the plays that he already knew from A playbook that he was already presented with or he was already familiar with I’m not sure you know what it was how many plays he got or if he just knew some of the plays in The Playbook but he was pretending calling him out at the line of scrimmage under Center so that’s really cool to see how committed he is right away not even getting into rookie literally coming back from the press conference so to see that is it really makes me smile and really ENC you know yeah it just makes me happy and uh makes me feel good that we did get at least the right person and he also is very talented like we’ve had guys in the past that are talented but not might not be the right guy or might not have the right drive and the right motor or the right approach to everything at least when we got them and there’s some guys that did have the right approach and stuff but maybe they didn’t have all the talent or good decision- making so I think jayen Daniels has both of you know the Best of Both Worlds does that mean it’s going to work out I don’t know but it does bode well for him in the future like RG3 is an example had a lot of talent a lot of talent good armed talent and then obviously one of the best running quarterbacks of Our Generation you know in terms of talent it was very shortlived but that one season we know how special he was with his legs and then but you have his you know stubbornness of not being able to slide and go down or sliding too late and you know he once he started to learn how to slide it was too late but then also his mentality thinking he was a different quarterback than he was you know maybe not the best teammate at times and again you know RG3 you know he’s carved out a great career for himself in the media right now so I’m not trying to put him down I’m just saying in general at least at that time it didn’t seem like he had the right mindset and Jaden Daniels does and he has the talent as well which is very good and I think you know also we have a lot of Veteran coaches on this coaching staff Anthony Lynn Cliff kingsberry both of those guys were former head coaches you got Dan Quinn he’s not a offensive coach but he was a head coach in this league before you got Brian Johnson who’s a former OC I’m trying to think I know I’m missing someone else I know I’m missing someone else that was a former coach high up there I think I am uh but a lot of experience in this coaching staff which I do like and that’s going to be good for jayen Daniels I’ll show you guys some more Clips here’s him throwing the rain uh you get you know getting in that pocket let’s see which one the yellow one and you know you expect them to do that but just showing you guys in the heavy rain and gets it in the red pocket I believe as well showing off his footwork or I guess the yellow again I I guess it’s short it’s only one time but sh off his footwork there able to get it in is good to see for sure and yeah it’s really just baby steps with Jaden Daniels with this stuff OTA is a mini camp you can’t get too excited from what you hear or what you see but the more I mean honestly you can’t really get excit too excited from what you see maybe what you hear means a little bit more like I don’t think we were hearing that good stuff from Sam Hal uh during the off seon and you know rest in peace of Dwayne H Haskins but before his rookie year we definitely weren’t hearing great things and same thing with some of these other guys so with him if you’re hearing good things that’s good obviously though still got to put it on this uh you know put it together on the field so we’re going to see if he is able to do that but right now all the signs are pointing in the right direction for him um again good guy seems like a very good teammate and not going to get any off the field issues but then also very talented and whatever issues he does have on the field he’s going to do the best that he can to work through that and improve on those issues and maybe make those weaknesses some strengths and that’s you know what he tried to do from his time at Arizona State to LSU he improved drastically over 5 years and you would expect the players to but from going to a you know solid starting quarterback to a Heisman winner that’s not easy to do at all so it shows that he is willing to put in the work and he did say like and I know a lot of people are like oh he only had one really good year okay maybe and he he did maybe one really good year but he had some other Good Seasons but last year was the first year he kept the same OC you know backtack years and ran was running the same offense so that is a huge thing you know players like stability so this year obviously going to have a new OC but that was going to happen regardless of where he went unless he bought the unless the commanders or whatever team that drafted him brought the LSU OC with him but you know he’s going to have Cliff Kingsbury this year and then probably for the foreseeable future as well I don’t see Cliff going anywhere so it’ll be good to have him around and yeah so that’s it for today’s video just talking about Jaden Daniels and so far things are looking good he’s been good in OTAs and mini camp at least from what we’ve heard and we’re hearing some things behind the scenes too that are encouraging as well I’ll make a video or two in the next couple of days hopefully if I get a little bit better um maybe on Emanuel forb saw some stuff you know about him from John K predicting if he’s going to start or not spoiler he doesn’t think he’s going to start at least not early on in the off season during like training camp he’s probably going to be with the second team and yeah if you guys stay till the end go ahead and comment down below Niles Paul I’m just going to keep doing this OG players I mean for some of you guys it’s not OG cuz you guys have been around for a while but for me that’s an OG player so yeah thanks for watching hope you guys enjoyed and peace

  1. I am excited about our new young QB. He is a true duel threat QB. But to say he "has shown significant progress" after a couple of rookie mini camps is just crap talk. He was good at draft and still exactly the same now. We may be able to use "has shown significant progress" like next year.

  2. Im excited to see the whole team really. St Juste and Davis will benefit from better coaching.
I think they become a whole new dawg.
    I'd love to see that.
Ben and Luke are cool rookie jedi names.
    Stay up, Pedro! You rock

  3. Aside from JD5, the player I'm most excited to see is Mike Sainristil. That dude is gonna be a star! I think this draft will go down as one of the best ever. Things are looking really good. HTTRWFTC4LIFE!!

  4. I keep seeing Niles Paul in the comments; isn't that dude like a 40 year old former Redskins player? I know he was on the 49'ers roster for a bit, too – but am I trippin' or did Adam Peters go and sign another old San Fran practice squad member while I was asleep?

  5. Somebody that puts out content every day on you tube has marked daniels as frail because of weight I'm impressed by him even though his weight could be higher heres what i say let's compare him to❤️ joe rheisman he played a long time even punt return he wasn't idea weight for quarterback and its unlucky greatest linebacker hurt him bad ended Joe's career but Joe played a long time undersized he was tough jayden will be fine at his weight
