Astros have been at the top in team BA all season. This isn’t an indication we are “back”. Start moving up the ranks in Team ERA and Team BA with RISP and I’ll start thinking we’re back for real.
We’ve been one of the best context-neutral hitting teams the whole season. At the end of April, we were 5th in wRC+ and 3rd in batting average.

Y’all shouldn’t have been doom and gloom two weeks ago and y’all shouldnt be sunshine and roses now. It’s a long season and we’re not even to summer yet, I promise we will both suck and be great multiple times between now and October. Let’s just hope to stay healthy and see how guys develop over the season.
What’s the lowest ranked RISP hitting team to lead the league in batting average?
Say what? How little Batting Average actually has to do with run production and winning?

There was a post asking about Abreu on here this weekend. One of the top comments claimed Abreu went 0 for 4 with 3 Ks.
