we’re here to talk about game seven on uh on Monday you know we’re here so let’s just do it let’s get let’s do the damn thing you know the drill you ready I’m ready let’s get into it the lone game on Monday’s card takes us to Rogers Arena for game seven between the Canucks and the Oilers and finally we had a game in this series that was not decided by a single goal as the Edmonton Oilers even the series up at three wins a piece and now we head back to Vancouver for game seven and I hate to sound like a broken record but if you’ve been following me over the course of this series you probably know where I’m going I’m taking the Canucks here you know I know Brock besser missing this game because of blood clotting issues and hopefully obviously gets those resolved but again the Canucks are more than just Brock besser is he one of their better players yes he is however ever I still believe that the Oilers are just still a little bit topheavy for my liking in terms of their offensive production a lot of times they’ve had to rely on Conor McDavid and Leon dry Sidle now they are getting secondary scoring from guys like Zach imman and Ryan nent Hopkins but the Canucks are still a team that won their division this year they played really well the Edmonton Oilers are a team that is a much much better team at home on the road they has they’ve been able to win in this series but no team in this series has been able to win backto back games a lot of these games have been fairly competitive a lot of them have been fairly close and I don’t expect the Vancouver conu just to roll over just because they they fell flat in game six you know is silos a young goenda this probably be the biggest game of his career most likely would it surprise me if you know if if the the Canucks went with Casey to Smith for some veteran presence in goal a little bit but I could see that I could see that their justification behind it considering he’s been in this kind of situation before but the thing for me here is that the Canucks have just been more consistent across the board we’ve seen Peaks and valleys with the edmont Oilers all year long and I think steuart I think um Stuart Skinner in game six you know playing as well as he did was him more about just proving a point that it didn’t make sense for the Oilers to switch to Calvin picker for game five I think that was just his his sort of Step Up game saying hey you made the wrong choice and now I’m going to prove it to you and he did that in game six but in Vancouver in what’s been a hostile environment in front of fans that want to see this conu team get into the Conference Finals get back to the Stanley Cup I gotta I I just I can’t pass up this price again if you were giving me the Oilers at something aroundus 130 we can have that discussion but the line is ballooned after the bester news from -40 for the Oilers up to around minus 165 I can’t do it give me the conu here plus the goal and a half if you’re
