[Applause] the people at watchg guard have been amazing and the products are amazing [Music] too my name is John Rollins I am the director of technology for the Seattle Kraken protecting about 260 users in their devices as well as servers out there the building’s also open fully to the public so there’s a ton of stuff going on from 5:00 a.m. when we open till 1:00 a.m. when we close there’s probably about a th guests that come in the facility we do have public facing Wi-Fi so that also goes through our firewall there similarities between our our team and our roles to a penalty kill we’re always operating in a lean environment not a lot of Staff members and we’re always having to protect against threats and everything that’s coming at us so we have Ryan he’s a dedicated cyber security engineer and Ryan does the the bulk of the work my name is Ryan wilgus and I’m the cyber security engineer for the Seattle Kraken most of our users based here in Seattle Washington as well as across the state then we also have users who are across the country and parts of Europe when we first rolled out watch guard we did a a cut over in the middle of the night so it was kind of like a 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. type of situation obviously our building is open all sorts of hours so we have to do in the off hours we were able to take our installer package and push it out through our MDM and all of our uh endpoints at that time it was on there within a 10 to 15 minute window and we were up and running the next day couldn’t ask for a smoother transition and uh Flawless like execution and the support that we got from the watch Guard team was stuck at the none watch guard just stuck with us through the entire process and I appreciate that and how’s everything running now great smoothly haven’t had a incident haven’t had an issue outside of the conversations with watchguard it was actually colleague of mine and he said I love those guys I love that company and I felt that throughout this entire process having a system that is simplified makes all of our challenges go away if it was too complex to use we would probably have to increase our staff members but the way that guard is it makes everyone’s jobs just easier love the dashboards with watch guard makes it really easy to identify threats and and see what’s going on in our environment it’s so easy to use and I feel like it’s tailored just for us once we rolled out watch guard we were actually going to do something that we were never able to do before and I mean it took us 5 minutes so I I think that was impressive it’s actually streamlined a lot of our process in the building and it’s been great we have time to go and fight other fires that may pop up we’re all able to now devote other time to more projects around here to help the s tring we’re going to keep trying to strengthen our security postures we’re going to roll out off point in the next couple of months with watchg guard so that’s going to be the next employment product and we’ll continue to evaluate any other products that they have to see what fits our needs I would recommend watch guard for any Corporation or business who would want easy to use and easy to manage services it’s an incredibly reliable resource for us and I felt safer just knowing that watch guard’s there to protect us
