Bob Meers here to help us break down game one Bob uh Celtics were in some trouble there at the end of regulation how did they pull this out still still processing that stand um I’ll tell you what they stay with it and in Indiana made a couple mistakes help made some plays Jaylen Brown huge shot right yep and and all kinds of tactical things you can look back on and say should Indiana have advanced the ball before throwing it in when they see aam play right there should they have fouled right so there it’s it’s not fair car is a fantastic coach and these things happen in games but if you’re a Pacers fan you’re kicking yourself saying we had that game yeah got away from them got away from him now they like to play with Pace they like to move the ball and they did a great job of it for most of the game but those turnovers 21 turnovers on the road against a very very good Celtics Team stand can’t have it um but give credit to the Pacers they were in they actually I always say this you can’t win a game twice okay they won the game once they just had to finish that part out and they turn it over Cel a big shot going to overtime on the road hard to beat a team again and they couldn’t get it done but it you know for the series I still think this can be a great series y now now the Pacers are feeling probably like they let one get away and a lot of people will say that I would almost say that but they’re still in this they can still compete with this Celtics team porzingis is a swing factor in this series when he comes back if he comes back how good he’ll be that could make the Celtics margin for air much greater than it is now MH um do you expect that Boston will try to change the pace no I think the C they’re comfortable at this pace too yeah they well I don’t the the Pacers certainly made the Celtics uncomfortable the Celtics are they stole this one at home they stole this game they should not have won this game so they’re sitting there going what can we do differently the Pacers uh gave a full effort coming off a a game seven so they played they played you know two days ago whatever it was so the Celtics have to be at the point now where they’re going we’re dealing with the real Team here and we got to take this seriously not that they didn’t but the Pacers were great the Pacers take care of the ball and keep playing the way they have and keep pushing the pace this could be a great series all right we will see game two of this series coming up on Thursday Bob we appreciate the breakdown thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

Mazulla almost lost them the game. Taking out tatum late in the 3rd when u up 13 then Pacers go on a run. Then tatum is cold in the 4th. Brown bailed him out then tatum finally wakes up in ot and wins it
If Pozingis comes back this series, Haliburton will feast on his poor pick and roll defense. I think they should keep Porzingis on the bench.

The Knicks had a whole team injured and almost won the series. The Pacers aren't that good a team and were very lucky to reach the conf. finals. The Celtics, on the other hand, are extremely unreliable, especially without Porzingis. So I imagine this being an unnecessarily long series, with the Celtics winning in 6 or 7. Whoever comes out of the East won't be able to win the finals, anyway. The two best teams at this point are in the West.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Celtics have NO coaching staff. The only way the Pacers are a dangerous team is playing fast paced, and the Celtics literally played in their hands by going fast paced. Has anyone at least bothered to watch the Pacers against the Bucks or the Knicks? Didn't they see how much the Pacers struggled when the game slows down? Umbelievable.
