I will always remember Stephon Gilmore as the CB who got shooked and cooked by that Green Bay WR in the playoffs.
Wasn’t Gilmore washed up like 3 years ago? And Renfrow has like 500 yards and almost no TDs in the last 2 years. These guys are still available for a reason.
There is no way we are using what little cap flexibility we have left on Gilmore. We just drafted 2 CBs.
Renfrow & Zay is redundant IMO. Gilly could definitely be a Raven if injuries occur. I would also consider Xavien Howard too since he’s such a playmaker.
I would much rather grab a safety, OL, and/or a RB. I know we just tried out Jamal Adams but if somehow the football Gods would allow us to afford Justin Simmons, we probably have the best secondary in football or at least s-tier-/top3.
If Henry goes down we will need extra RB insurance. I would love to bring back Dalvin Cook to see if he has anything left in the tank or maybe he’s just completely washed like he looked at times last year. Keaton Mitchell won’t be back until late season if not the playoffs, so we will need an extra veteran RB.
And finally OL is almost certainly going to need to be addressed unless we have a solid surefire starting lineup between Mekari, Cleveland, Voorhees, Falele, Rosegarten etc. Unless those guys are truly solid and ready to go …I’m sure there is a veteran OL out there who can put some heat on those guys. Im worried the OL will struggle early on in the season, Lamar will get sacked/hurt, and Henry will be running into brick walls every carry.

Gilmore would be nice for the min. The young DBs could refer to him and he’d be there just in case. I mean he’s a former DPOY after all. I’ll always support vets as depth pieces, especially one w his caliber. Renfrow wouldn’t fit imo Lamar doesn’t need a safety valve receiver at this point in his career. He needs guys that can make their own plays like Zay.
