1. Part of the reason Murphy might be playing different players is not just righty, lefty situations, but to rest some guys a little bit.

2. Been a Milwaukee baseball fan since 1960. Started out listening to Braves game when I was 5 years old…Was at a game when I was 8 or 9. We left the stands to get an early start to driving out of the parking lot, The Braves were down 6-3 in the 9th inning. While we were walking to the car, the PA broadcast was heard outside the stadium. We heard the Braves load up the bases and who other than Hank Aaron hit a grand slam homer… Have been to games since, at both County stadium and Miller Park, never ever did I leave a game before the final out was made…First time going to Miller Park, I was in total awe at the magnificent beauty of the stadium. Milwaukee got it right when they decided to go with the retractable roof, second to none in my book.

4. 148 at bats (That's 5th most on the team.) with a .209 average and an .582 OPS. Yet nobody questions the 82 million dollar investment.

5. What is with the weird monasterio hate like yeah he is only hitting 150. But he hasn't that much so you can't really compare BA. He hasn't had a big enough leash to get hot same with Miller not saying they should start but the hate is unnecessary they both played pretty good last year stuff happens you can't win them all….. also you need to rest players does that mean that I don't care about the team NO!!!!

7. Chuck, I am as enraged with you are with this lineup. Murphy has sh** for brains as a manager. How in the world do you sit Turang, Frelick, and mostly Bauers for this series? Absolute joke and screw the analytics! Do you see the Braves sit their lefties for left handed pitchers? Or the Dodgers for that matter?? Just an absolute abysmal lineup with journeyman nobody wants or cares about. And you don’t pinch hit Miller when Chourio was on second base to possibly tie? I don’t want to hear the rest card either it’s a load of garbage, these hitters NEED to face lefties. Good luck in Boston, maybe he should go with the same lineup as the last 3 days. Finally Murphy needs to stop kissing the rear of every other team that wins. YOUR JOB IS TO GET YOUR TEAM READY, BE BETTER THAN THAT! It’s bad enough there is NO PITCHING STAFF. Don’t like the Murphy hire and never will, and won’t win anything with this guy. Joke, joke, joke….WAKE UP ANASTASIO AND SEE WHATS GOING ON AROUND YOU! THATS GOES FOR ARNOLD TOO!! WAKE UP!!!!

10. We went through this when we hired Mike Holmgren and traded for Brett . Chuck what we had to do as Packers fans then after decades of irrelevance is forget the past . The Lombardi era was long gone at that time . 1968 till 1996 was a 32 year stretch . Seems similar to me it can be the same with the 2024 Brewers . New manager who no one thought was good enough . A bunch of no name players start showing up in games and win . Suddenly in 1995 we win our first Division championship. In 1996 we win the whole damn thing and follow it with another championship run that only was spoiled by a desperate John Elway and horrific coaching choices in game.

    I say all this Chuck because you are VERY caught up in that past . You are constantly without belief because the Brewers have beaten belief out of you by force over 34 years or so of irrelevance and that is impossibly hard to overcome mentally .. I know personally my dad did not believe in those Packers until long after we had already won a championship again. Hell I don't think he even believed until #12 showed up in Green Bay. You have to STOP talking about the 34 years of failure and STOP projecting that losership onto this team that has 0 to do with those 34 years. We are all sick of winning nothing real too but also some of us see this Brewers roster as the one that finally came to change EVERYTHING and some of us are starting to believe this team has the legs no other Brewers team has ever had. We want this as bad as you do and NONE of us are okay with losing . Even after the most disjointed and sick road series every so far the bones of this team still play Fall Ball Chucky . What it needs most and more than anything right now is a fanbase as jaded as you are to buy into this team and that is proving next to impossible for a lot of hardcore Old Timers like yourself.
    I will tell you somethings about myself Chuck so you get the picture. I am 45 so I have no excuse. I have worked in Packers reporting my entire career. So this turn to the Brewers for me mid life has EVERFYTHING to do with this ROSTER Chuck. After years of just not caring what the Brewers did suddenly me and thousands like me are tuning in BECAUSE this team is showing something the Brewers have not shown in almost my entire life. I was there for Prince and Braun but I am not going to lie Éric Serge Gagné made me run away from those Brewers and I did not look back . I was there for Yount and Molitor and even followed Molitor to Minnesota and watched that Series with the pride I wanted to hand him with our Crew but could not. By 2018 I was checked out and I still blame Éric Serge Gagné and I can easily say did not believe and i missed a season to remember because of it. I believe this Brewers team superior to these past Brewers teams only playing in a time when baseball makes less sense than ever before . I believe with a pitching acquisition of 2 in the starting rotation this CURRENT batting roster can hit with anyone when allowed to stay continuity wise . All the past week aside this team is much more battle tested than it has been in recent seasons and the prospects are now pros . We have a good team here right now and constantly throwing back to disappointment from previous Brewers seasons is not how we move forwards. I have no problem with you as the Brewers Locked on Guy . nor do I have any issues with you calling our the stupid when it happens and it is not negative to talk about stupid lineups . It is not negative to call our bad calls or poor players like Miller, Weimer and Monasterio being in a lineup for 3 days in a row despite our stars being right there to use. This is good reporting . The negativity you are being accused of is real however as you constantly inject the past failures in the present day . This is where you lose the fans. You call Sal bad when he is anything but bad. You hated Bryce until recently . You doubt on players like Adames (we all do) and do not give credit to the guys when they are killing it on the field. You have become hard to listen to and I do not think you understand that because you are so convinced that the Brewers will do nothing but let you down. I get why . it has been that way but the only way we move forwards is to win with who we have and embrace the team that has been built finally after decades of building . This team is fan support away from winning real things. They have the players in place to really produce at the highest levels and the only thing missing with the Brewers now is the Fans who believe in them . That sounds like it should not matter but it is the defining external glue that holds a team together through this long of a season. If you are reporting on the Brewers picking the REDs to win the Central is probably a bad way to start. If you cannot believe in this team you should step aside and let someone with a more positive outlook take over the show. Chuck . We can do this. But we need you to help us get there. Be positive about our chances . Help breed a new way to look at things and help us win something for the first time ever by doing it ! We can win this with some luck and a pitching acquisition . Lets talk about that. Lets talk about how to move this team forwards and not about how it has failed for so many years.

11. Now that I told you what i think your problem is I will write Brewers . WTF are we going into games against lefties with a roster full of people who are terrible and belong nowhere near a MLB field ? Weimer sucks and has no business being a pro . There is no hope he suddenly comes up with game. He is purely bad. there is no hope he is a better player and should not be on this team at any level . Owen Miller sucks and Tyler Black does not but we are forced to watch subpar players instead of the best we have in our system and no one explains why . This is what we turn to you and others who cover the team for. No one explains . Why is Monasterio on this rotation when its not injury forcing that happen. All these things are STUPID . There is no advantage to playing % with left handed pitchers and keeping your best lineup off the field right as they were just starting to gel they rip that roster down almost immediately after they really start to produce as a team Murphy pulls the plug because of Left handed pitching. This cannot continue . not only is this thinking provably wrong it is new think that ignores reality . There is no way a Sal against lefties gives you less than Owen Miller at the plate . There is no excuse for errors at 2nd base because Turang is batting .400 against left pitching in 2024 and for some reason Murphy believes there is an advantage to benching his best and there is no excuses for thinking this stupid. What we need is reporting like we have in football . The failure of the press to embarrass managers and teams for their mistakes is why mistakes continue as the norm .where with the Packers the press holds the team to account for every single small mistake and it forces the Packers to correct problems or be devastated in media . Why is no one asking Murphy why he is making these bad choices on post game interviews? Only softball questions that have no teeth like "how much does Gasser and Freddy going deep into rotations help the bullpen?" This does nothing to expose stupid . It does nothing to explain why they make stupid lineups against left hands . WE need guys who are standing in that room to stand up to the Brewers and ask hard questions that hold the team accountable . you have a job Chuck . you are Brewers media and it is your job to make sure when the Brewers make stupid moves they get called on it publicly . Why is no one asking Murphy why we keep playing % analytics despite reality saying something else. Every time this guy has rip this roster apart and changed the lineup it has stopped momentum this lineup has put together and it stimies winning . Why is no one calling out the Brewers to their face in media?

13. After the Hader trade, I just accepted that the Brewers would not will a WS in my lifetime. Now, I enjoy listening to Brewers games, but don't hope for anything more than entertainingly, competent baseball.
    The Brewers are good enough to play good baseball, good enough to have a winning record and maybe win the division. They aren't good enough to win a playoff series or the WS. Brewers FO/Ownership knows we'll come to the ballpark anyway, and feel no urgency to win a WS.
