when you playing with Kobe you know initially I asked for a trade I told I said I don’t think I could be here I had to submit to that I had to be like all right cool it’s over I’m not there’s no numbers to put up and I’m playing with Kobe so as I’m going through everything I’m just like I actually really like being here I really like being with Kobe M I’m just going to be the best role player I could be at this point in my Prime every game that he didn’t play I average 19 I had to actually go back and tally it all up cuz I was a questioning myself I’m at home like damn I’m really garbage I said hold let me look at these stats I said damn I’m average 18.9 you was like I do that it was about 20 games I knew I was nice it’s knew I was it’s just cold

  7. Haters will hate but true fans know that Ron stepped up in game 7. The Lakers were down by 20 at one point, The Mamba was having a bad shooting night but he was playing lockdown Defense and going up in the trees for rebounds. Ron’s 3 was the dagger. He’s beloved in my book for that performance alone.

  13. People forget how good Artest was in his prime. Pacers Artest was a menace, and as a role player in Lakers he could take over when they needed him. He sometimes had really stupid fumbles, like in the game against Phoenix where he hit the putback from Kobe's missed shot, before that during their last possession he rushed and shot an open brick from 3pt line while there was plenty of time in the shot clock and Phoenix got the ball… Luckily he followed thru, otherwise people would remember that game as the Artest's Brick game or something like that.. 😂 Or should I call him Metta Sandevista-Peace or whatever the hell his name is now… 😂
