it’s a show with a very special guest coming on and some unfinished business that we have four first after the [Music] break the audience knows him as three-time Super Bowl champion two-time league MVP I know is Pat Pat you got us yes Patrick Mahomes on the show today I do not think we should talk about the Royals oh I’m sorry are we having someone on who owns the hottest team in baseball Mahomes joined us because he’s an investor in Throne coffee oh kic here yeah the coffee oh the Mahomes coffee I’ve been trying to find an unofficial SL official sponsorship for the show AKA just me oh but hold on real quick out of curiosity why are we talking the coffee because he owns a piece of it then I think we should probably talk Royals cuz he owns pie of he wants us to do realy stuff well I don’t know he owns part of the team I’ll just be like for the record Patrick I wanted this interview to be entirely about the Dallas Mavericks and the Kansas City Royals these guys won’t let me do it so I’m ask a couple football questions yeah I like that wasn’t without its flaws mostly caused by Nick’s ego Nick and team thanks for the love team Throne sport coffee oh that’s nice what did the note say again I mean the issue is it says Nick and team Nick and team oh ni this is cute Nick and team I mean I got to grab my sport Cofe right there that’s mine mine the one I wanted see I’m going to do a taste test live on air moch you want vanilla oh you give it to him not me unbelievable very good it’s now the official coffee of First Things absolutely my favorite part was when Nick claimed that he was Kansas City’s favorite son until Patrick Mahomes knocked him off the mountain top so I told you this a couple years ago once upon a time I was you know probably can City’s favorite son you took it from me prior to momes when you went to the airport filled with Nick Wright memorabilia it was just Nick Wright and then momes the reason the show has a relationship with Patrick Mahomes II is because he’s a close personal friend of mine you’re in luck you get to be part of the best segment in all of sports what a thrill it’s NBA tears here’s the other thing should he go first or last in tears I kind of like Brew going first Brew goes and argues and starts talking ass no you know the real real hardcore analytic Geeks are in into ASX Patrick probably wouldn’t have known what I was talking about next year if he comes back by then asox will be all the rage it’s NBA tears last night a secretive Committee of savants fought and toiled and burned the Midnight Oil to deliver the best segment in all of sports it’s an honor and a privilege it’s a special Mahomes edition of NBA tiar indeed it is Patrick I love the Patrick came on the show and sunned Nick and told him that look you’re wrong on the top of your tears that is the latest edition of Nicks te Patrick your thoughts on it you’re surprising me so I’m just going to give my instant reaction thoughts here I would change the 2023 Chiefs to the 2019 Chiefs if you remember that defense kind of came on at the end of the season you know what I got to say for the first time in the history you’re right I mean the tears were wrong I mean the tears were usually I’m like I tell you why they’re right but you know what you’re right that would have been a better example it just flatly would have been better I should have done it that’s the first time I’ve ever seen Nick admit that he was wrong and he did it gladly the committee is to be respected but they’re often wrong the committee also knew the right designation was 2019 Chiefs so I wanted to give him a layup so the chief’s tier had an obvious error and then he can come in over the top and I mean again we didn’t talk about it wasn’t rigged but I know I know my guy thank you very much thank you man great great he’s awesome thanks for watching subscribe here to get more from the show and to check out clips from other shows on FS1
