for some tough news to start the day involves two orial starting pitchers Tyler Wells and John means both will need surgery to repair damage ucls orio’s general manager Mike Elias has more we’re determined that uh they they’re going to require uh revision repair to their owner collateral ligaments and um you know it’s uh very unfortunate situation for for for us for them um tough news for everybody uh but um you know we’ll take great care of them and get them back to their um their skill levels in in due time and on the mound for the Baltimore Orioles it will be the 34-year-old Albert Suarez yeah big Albert Suarez will be on the mound great to be back here in Baltimore and here is yandi Diaz standing in and the first pitch of the Night by Suarez is lined in the right for a base hit didn’t take long yandi Diaz to the opposite field singles Brandon L the batter Mount capsu can’t handle it’s a fair Ball but he has the quick out at first as Diaz advances 990 ft Mount Castle a good job keeping that one in the neighborhood you see right here he’s able to at least get enough glove on it to keep that from being a double down the line and probably second and third if not yand Diaz possibly even scoring two men on two men out for DeLuca in the air to left cower froze for a moment now racing back and he holds it in Colton cower didn’t get a read on it at first but he made a great play you see right here what a play cows are running into the wall Torres pumped up barali see the numbers on the year two and four with the sub6 ER 134 whip 57 punch outs and 17 walks and here is gunar Henderson he reaches for this one nice play by cabero fires the first but too late infield hit for Henderson oh and this is what he can do he can do it all he gets an extra pitch in this at bat because maybe he was struck out but he gets a pitch on the outside part of the plate reaches out and you see it’s a terrific play but Gunner Henderson just flies down the line got Ryan Oar stepping in right now Henderson a very short lead and the breaking ball swung on the Miss strike three that’s my favorite pitch that Ain svali throws I know he loves those Cutters that you were talking about but I when he lands that pitch that curveball I never see anybody squaring it up two down now and Ryan mountcastle who is red hot will come to the plate and that’s going to be snagged at second base by low but he bubbles it it’s too late he did the hard part and then he may have lost it in the transition he’s got plenty of time he comes up and just could not get a grip on it it’s an infield base hit the orio have two of them here in the bottom of the first and that will get Anthony San there to the plate ler into right Palos is there to make the catch to retire the side two men left on base we have completed one full inning Richie Palos to begin the second inning for Tampa Bay left-handed batter that’s a shot toward the gap that’ll play for extra bases a couple hops to the wall Palos rounding second and he will put on the breaks right there a double for Richie Palos a sack bunt for Jose Siri homered twice yesterday Ben wett who’s been sluming to the plate and a liner base hit through the left side and that gets pazio home the Rays will grab the early lead on the RBI single by Ben WV and it’s going to send up Jose cabayo struck him out and he got him with a cutter and they’re two away so two away here’s yandi Diaz there goes wett and this is to the Gap in right center field Mullins is on the run and he’ll track it down Superman strikes again but the Orioles defense has been terrific all year and Cedric Mullins is there’s not a lot better out there in center field than him you see he gets a perfect jump Albert sare has is pumps about his defense all right Brandon La who also is a homec swing of sorts and he got him swingy yeah so curveball change up change up back to the curveball for the punch out a double for parus Jonathan oranda bats on the left side opens a stance slightly and he struck him out 97 a foul tip held on to by Rutman two CES in the inning for Suarez little Tapper right back to the box and in between the legs from behind the knee Suarez cracking A Smile as he fields and then throws out Duca at first base on the follow through the glove Whi behind the body of Suarez he makes the stab and then completes the play right hand batter in Siri 3-2 pitch swing it a Miss Siri caught out in front oh he’s starting to feel it now he’s starting to fill up that zone Matteo this is not an easy play but he makes it look easy and that is a one two three top of the fourth for Albert Suarez out Castle picked up an infield single against the volley back in the first down swings and misses it a breaking ball in the dirt and huh bar s handled him on just three pitches so two outs with the runner of board for Cedric mullers this one pulled into right back toward the track not quite there and palasio grabs it no runs the man left we go to the fifth through four one nothing Rays Cabo to Begin Again swing and a miss he struck him out there’s that beautiful cutter on that outside part of the plate a two out walk to Lao the Slugger paradus coming to the plate Mato is a long way to go he Fields the ground ball and a lop toss to First in he over well Big Al gets through five it’s still one- nothing Tampa Bay with the Orioles coming to bat in the bottom of the fifth it’s Ramona Ras to face off against Sali Fly ball left field Here Comes DeLuca diving again he makes the catch DeLuca trying to read that one early but had the lay out with that diving grab and held on to retire uras well now nobody on it here is Santander with a single to Center on a line to right he h it well both times curveball l in the right field down for a base hit Santander smothered that one for his third hard hit of the ball game and that will knock out Aaron svali Kevin cash takes the baseball from him and the Orioles have something going in the bottom of the six and they will make the move to Austin Hayes batting from Mullins to get left on right up the middle it’s through santand will be sent in from third and it will go to second base and this game is tied Hayes comes through that’s exactly what the Orioles needed it’s exactly what Austin Hayes needed two outs in the six it’s going to be right on right for a mato who did single his last time up into left field Duca won’t get it it’s off the wall and this will clear him Hayes will come around to score Matteo’s at second it’s a two RBI double and the orial sees the lead so he sacrificed his firsted Bat then struck out a second time up 32 and close and Canó standing out there wanted that call it’s ball four and now they get the tying run of the plate just like that there goes the runner the pitch the strike throw to second base got him rman nails Siri and when you give adley Rutman a chance this is what you get right here you get a bullet right on the money it may have been a rough start to May for Craig Kimbrell but he has had a spectacular finish to his month as Jose Siri faces Kimbrell a strike two this time on the inside corner the payoff pitch dring and a miss he struck him out oh and Ryan Wills just tossed Jose Siri he made a mark on where he thought the pitch was before he has been ejected and here comes Kevin cash I think he was complaining about the two- strike pitch yeah and I think our box said it was a strike yeah it was and kemell will try and get one more out and wrap up what would be the Orioles 36th win of the year and that’s a c strike three ball game Kimbrell locks it down and the Orioles win again I just a terrific allaround performance Keno comes in and locks it down two more strikeouts [Music]
