Justin Jefferson Could “Hold In” at Minnesota Vikings Mandatory Minicamp This Week

[Music] what’s going on jeromes so the ongoing drama soap opera we need to do a Days of Our Lives graphic for Jefferson eventually I’m too lazy today but uh yeah getting his contract done uh is Paramount for the Minnesota F Vikings they’re motivated to do it they got the cap space JJ wants to get something done uh things are going to get done but like I I understand like there’s like 10% worry in the back of your mind that it’s not going to get done they’ll have to play the franchise tag Jefferson’s going to be like it’s time to time for a new beginning but n it’ll be fine but uh the main question this week is will Justin Jefferson attend mandatory mini camp uh between the fourth and the sixth now OTAs are OTAs they’re voluntary and you know some guys show up some some guys don’t even though it’s like it’s like 96% uh attendance rate it happens man but uh JJ so since he’s on his rookie deal uh if he does Skip mandatory mini camp and or training camp he can f significant finds that the team cannot resend uh so it would be taking money out of his pocket reportedly per bang guestling of the Star Tribune JJ could hold in purple persuasion put this together uh guestling said on access Vikings the star tribunes podcast his guess is Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson shows up to mandatory mini camp but does a hold in thing guestling also notes that Jefferson doesn’t show up expect that le blah blah blah quote it’s going to attract headlines if he’s not there certainly and I would look for those as soon as the night before if it leaks out that he’s not going to be there that’s probably coming from his Camp my guess is he shows up he does the you know kind of hold in thing although I I say that and we have not seen him do that before typically when he’s been there he’s kind of gone and done his thing and quote and yeah that’s thing too like Jefferson could have done a hold in last year during mandatory M camp and or training camp but whenever he’s there he is there he’s present he he’s full full bore uh in practice but you have seen holdin before notably uh with the Minnesota Vikings last year hunter in training camp where uh so denil reported didn’t get fined uh was active in in meeting rooms and working out with the team and everything else basically just didn’t practice with the team now you could say well that’s just being selfish blah blah blah that he’s getting his point across while protecting himself from potential injury before he gets his contract to a degree it’s smart business right uh but again I I don’t know if that’s in Jefferson’s DNA just because yes the business is the business is the business but JJ freaking loves the game and I feel like him showing up sitting in those meeting rooms going over the game plan stuff and just not getting on the field for reps I think that’s just going to I think that would kill him right so I I I do expect I’m not expecting a hold in uh so I I I think that if JJ shows up he is going to go be going full Bor but also it’s great to bring back this graphic yeah it’s up quy that’s right but uh of course the there are been a couple of data points added to the wide receiver contracts now like I said Jefferson was going to blow all these contracts out of the water anyway so uh Brown St Brown Wadd you know Tyreek if his if he gets his contract freshened up Devonte Smith Nico Etc doesn’t really impact JJ I’m still standing by my damn prediction four for a buck 40 35 million a year 100 million guaranteed uh and it it will be announced before the start of training camp although if it’s announced next week I feel like that’s technically before the start of training Camp so I think I win that’s all but either way like JJ and the Vikings something’s going to get done uh the Vikings are motivated JJ wants to get something done uh that there’s never been there has been a whisper of hey the Vikings are trying to short shift JJ in terms of money in terms of guarantees uh quacy and Company have been playing this for years uh and now just to get this thing across the line and into the end zone and I I think that it will happen and I I’m doubting the hold in I I I really am because like I said JJ just love loves the freaking game too much so there you go anyways that’s that’s it your thoughts are thoughts uh could Justin Jefferson hold in question mark let us know in the comment section below subscribe for daily Vikings takes once supp of work put a little something in the vmma which next time skull production value
