It says a lot about FL as a team to be able to go back to back to the the Stanley Cup. While they themselves know it has taken them decades to do so in between. Nothing is guaranteed & as much as the media wants this to be a McDavid/Barkov cup, the reality is, that is the lesser known name players in each team that are going to have to step up to make this run a successful one.
McDavid will have his moments, Just like Barkov. But who is going to step up when they are being covered.

I remember the Pens making the final in '08 and then winning in '09. It literally felt like with Sid and Geno, we were going to be there every year easily. But that couldn't be farther from reality. I know we (the Penguins) won it two times after that several years later, but it's such a special thing to be a part of. Florida fans, Edmonton fans, enjoy the hell out of these next couple weeks. You never know when it will never happen again!
