F-Around Friday: Best and Worst Flyers Draft Picks of the last 10 years | PHLY Sports

[Music] so Charlie before I do that um watch your podcast the other day what’s the f stand for in Friday hey everybody how you doing well that’s good I’m Charlie o Conor with me today is Kelly hle and as one Dan hilford yeah explained believe it’s F around Friday it is f around Friday the F stands for fun and Friends fun and friends yeah okay that that’s what we’re going with to fun and Friends fun and Friends fun and friends so there is your answer Mr hilford it’s a very wholesome show Dan I think you know that extremely wholesome so thank you so much Dan alredy for that that endorsement I think that may be the intro for all of our F around Fridays the rest of the summer it it l like I can’t explain to you the feeling of like sheer joy that I felt when he said it because like first of all wasn’t expecting it obviously and second of all your like retort was just like so quick and good because mat you’re very witty yeah just ask Bill yeah it was fantastic but uh in any case it is good to be back for our end of week show and as the the fround Friday title implies we just tend to mess around a little bit on Fridays we have some fun conversations a little bit less structured than a show today however we are going to talk kind of jumping off from yesterday where yesterday was heavy on the uh the 2024 NHL draft talk we had Chris Peters in the show we talked a bit about guys like Berkeley cat and constant helenius today we’re gonna step in the time machine we’re going to go back a little bit and we’re going to look at just not super in depth but just a quick look at the drafts of the last 10 years starting with the 2014 draft which per perfectly is the first Ron hexol draft so we’ll go through little tour of the hexall era we have it on here we have the good part of the hexall era when it seemed like things were going the way we wanted them to then the bad part of the hexall era when in retrospect things kind of went off the rails then the Chuck Fletcher year which in ret retrospect pretty much was entirely going off the rails I guess with the exception of that first year yeah and then an early look at the Danny Brier era the one draft that he has in his uh in his history the draft from last year but Kelly I’m looking forward to this we’re gonna we’re mostly gonna focus on the main thrust of it is best pick of each draft okay and worst pick of each draft and then we could talk about the other guys if we want to I’m actually really excited because front of the Pod Luke in Philadelphia is in the chat this is the first time I’ve ever seen is that Luke trauma yeah oh man exced Luke trauma is a longtime friend of of the bsh radio pod of bsh in general and I guess now phly should have kept should have kept yeah should have kept uh he he may have a uh some relation to the legendary NHL flya Twitter account which also has the legendary picture of Claud Drew in the walking boot but you can’t actually see the walking boot uh yes uh Luke thanks for watching Twitter royalty really Flyers Twitter royalty a legend of Flyers Twitter from the uh the good old days but in any case uh let us begin with the first Ron hexol draft actually the draft was in Philadelphia this was the philly draft 2014 uh this was the draft where Aaron eblad went number one and the Flyers tried to trade up for him apparently Florida asked for I believe a package that included both Simmons and Braden Shen in addition to draft picks maybe there were other things involved ultimately the Flyers could not get a deal done but they tried instead they go up to the podium and they select Travis sanheim so here was the draph class for those that are not watching on YouTube and are listening via the audio podcast we had Travis sanheim with a 17th overall pick in the first round second round they went with Nicholas albe cubel third round mark fredman fifth round Oscar limam sixth round Rell fliv and then in the seventh round jper Pon so six picks were made in this draft I would say at this point we really didn’t know what to think about hexall we did not but I remember coming out of the homeg era where homr was using early round picks on guys that just either fought like the Tyrell gold borns those types I remember being in the moment at least reassured that it seemed like he was going more that hexal was prioritizing prioritizing skill a little bit more yeah that was my thought what was your thought in the moment so I think generally I remember everyone being pretty excited about the start of the hexall era because a it’s Ron hexall Flyers Legend B the LA Kings teams that he was a part of were built really well and obviously had a lot of success and there was a lot of kind of talk about like hexall being one of the the main reasons why the kings were able to build so well because he was so good at drafting and and doing this kind of stuff so I remember us being pretty excited um I don’t specifically remember my thoughts when we picked Travis sanheim but I do know that I was generally super high on hexall so I feel like I probably watched this draft and was like yes this is going to be awesome and honestly until the end of the hexall era I think that was kind of like my vibe with him like I really thought we were going to do the rebuild hexall was going to do it properly and we were going to come out of this thing on the other side a really good hockey team like the kings were and you know in hindsight welp yep pretty much welp but In fairness even when hexall was fired we didn’t yet know that and we’ll get to him in a little bit we did not yet know that Nolan Patrick was a bust we did not yet know that a lot of these draft picks that we’re going to talk about in the next 20 25 minutes ended up being bust we saw had hopes for the amount of talent that hexol had accumulated via his drafting um one thing that I do want to point out that’s interesting about this draft because we’ve talked a little bit about this over the last couple days about the idea of late risers and how you don’t necessarily trust them Travis sanheim actually kind of was Riser not NE not to the degree of a cutter go but he was a guy where the production didn’t come for him until the second half of his draft year okay and his production on draft day because I wasn’t super into the draft at that point so when they took Travis anim it was like okay I sort of know that name but you looked at his numbers and you’re like oh he’s probably more of like a stay-at-home defensive defenseman and then you delve more into him and you realize no he’s an upside swing and an offensive defenseman with a lot of really good tools it’s just that he didn’t put up great numbers because the first half of the year he was pretty far down his team’s lineup wasn’t really getting offensive usage and then in the second half it started to click for him the Flyers kind of took a swing with Travis sanheim and I mean looking at this list if we’re going to talk about best pick and worst pick I think there’s really only two viable options for best pick and I think it really just depends on what your view of the Oscar Limon pick is in retrospect and if you want to judge the flyers for what ultimately happened to Oscar limam in his career or if you want to say it was a fantastic pick and you never could have predicted the guy was going to get cancer right and I that’s kind of where I fall I think that if if you can go back in time and Oscar lmam never gets cancer like you’re looking at that pick as like one of the best picks of the Flyers have made in decades because he was so good before he got sick and to find him in the fifth round like that’s unheard of so it’s it’s it’s really easy the thing with like you know Hinds sitting drafts in general is that it’s hard to subtract what you know now and go back to like judging those picks in the moment because like I mean like when you sent the outline and I was thinking like okay it’s really easy always to look at the first pick that the team makes in any given draft and find a reason why it sucked like like you can look at the sanheim pick and be like well they could have taken poster knock like obviously that would have been better given what we know now but like in the moment clearly poock wouldn’t have been a good pick in that moment because he didn’t go for like six or seven picks after yeah he was like later in the round later in the round like late 20s I think if I correctly it’s not like a bunch of teams were thinking David postero should have been a high round pick it was just that so happens to be awesome it just ended up that way which is why drafting is Wild start to finish like no one really knows what’s going to happen with these dudes but um yeah you can’t you can’t call the Oscar Lum blam pick bad because of what happened I just don’t think you can I you definitely can’t call it bad and at the very least you got in NHL a guy who played significant NHL games and was a productive NHL for multiple seasons in the fifth round that’s already a win it’s more like if he doesn’t if unfortunately he doesn’t get cancer if he stays healthy and builds off that breakout season clearly now ah going over Sweden next year but he just never came back the same dude for whatever reason the the treatments just I guess maybe took that little bit that he couldn’t afford to give in terms of his athleticism his talent whatever and he’s just not the same guy but I think that is the best pick of this draft because sanine pick is a good pick and you can never convince me that that’s not a good pick because this is a above average NHL player who is still with the organization who has consistently been a top four defenseman for this team to get that at 17 that is a good pick I think the limam pick from a process standpoint because he was a guy who I remember Alex appor talking him up during that draft year on Twitter he was a guy who was like viewed as a maybe first round pick he slipped and he slipped real far and the Flyers took a swing on skill and on upside I love that process and then they get rewarded because looks like hey he’s a player he’s scoring a ton in the shl you know he’s looking like a guy his first couple years in the NHL he’s a play driver he’s underlying numbers are awesome looks like he’s about to have that breakout offensive year when he gets diagnosed with cancer to me that is a great pick even if we didn’t get to reap the full reward of it because the hockey gods or just the Gods in general were pissed off at the Flyers and Oscar Lim blam and made him go through a terrible thing yeah judging the second and the third picks that they made in this draft is is kind of interesting because neither of the guys are with the team anymore which you know stinks we didn’t really get anything in return for either of them that was very good I don’t think no no nothing of consequence came from either of those trades um fre I believe I believe uh Al cubel was waved and claimed oh that’s right and I think fredman was as well right he was waved and claimed so fredman is like a nothing NHL wise really he’s like a bubble guy at he got some he got some games for the Flyers he got some games for the Flyers he got some games for the pens yeah and all and he played for Vancouver this past year had like a couple weeks where they were talking him up as a third pair defenseman and then he ended up getting scratched for a bunch of the rest of the year yeah and then Al cuel had a couple like one legitimately really good year with the Flyers when he looked like he was going to be a Mainstay fourth liner that pre pandemic year and then the the next year he comes back just not the same guy and loses favor and then he’s gone I don’t think either of those picks are bad though like obviously they could have been better but process-wise and the fact like I I don’t look at either those picks and say man that was a whiff it was hey they got guys that played NHL games would have been better if they would have got guys who were legitimately good nhlers but I don’t think there is an awful pick in this draft I it obviously could have been a better draft but I don’t think there is a pick that I I look at it I’m like man that was bad no no no no and and that’s why I think it’s why I think I always wonder I don’t know if you have this too I always wonder what would have happened if hexall had actually been allowed to do his thing I mean I think he was mostly allowed yeah I I don’t because I think there’s there’s a misconception that he would have blown it up if he would have been allowed to do it I don’t know if he ever wanted to okay I don’t I I’m unconvinced that he didn’t have the same belief that Brier has which is is that tanking doesn’t work because you you you purposely strip the thing down to the studs your culture goes in the tank and it becomes really really hard to build it up from nothing I’ve said from from the start that the best tanks are the unintentional tanks the tanks where you stink on accident and you get really high picks for two three years because you’re trying to be good you just are bad at your job and then you keep some good players because you didn’t tear it down you just had no idea how to build a successful team and then when those guys you drafted those years where you accidentally stunk they can join a team that isn’t a complete and total dumpster fire it has some pretty good players hexall I think was in that in line with that thinking the big thing is that he didn’t really get to finish out his tenure because obviously he burned Bridges and then they they pull the plug because the team had a really bad start to the 2018 2019 season so in that sense he didn’t get to see it through but I don’t think he would have blown it up from a tanking standpoint if Comcast would have said you can I think always felt that tanking was not the right move on to the 2015 draft a lot of draft picks in this class so many I think at the time we love this class in retrospect there are a lot of guys on here especially in the mid rounds that we had expectations for that did not stick I’m talking about Felix sandstrom um verev Kasha these are like this I think in retrospect was a big issue with the hexol tenure is that there’s a lot of picks in this middle middle range and we’re we’ll get to Ivan Pro Rin Travis connec me a second but there’s a lot of picks in this middle range that just like Samuel Dove McFalls toch the thing I remember about toch is that he wore 69 develop that was the only memorable thing OB we all loved him there were a lot of picks in the middle rounds that maybe at first glance look decent but just provided nothing and then a lot of the middle is guys like sandri had potential at one point forev was an NHL for a bit Kasha got some NHL time they just didn’t stick yeah and this is where you get into the question of was it drafting or was it development right in another organization does David Kasha stick as an NHL or does Vero have stick does sandrom stick or were they just what they were yeah and this is where I think you do start to question the development just because so many of the picks from this era failed yeah you have to wonder like okay no one gets this unlucky like no one whiffs on this many picks that you expect to be good and I don’t think it was just us that expected these players to be good because I think this was the era when the Flyers farm system was consistently ranked this was when they were getting to the point I think it was after this draft is when the Flyers Prospect pool people were starting to look at it as like it’s legitimately good right and and part of that was because you had guys like s and verroi and Kasha where like right after they got drafted they kept playing well and you’re thinking hey these guys might be legit like Dove McFalls it was pretty clear he was nothing from the pretty much from like the end of his first year after the draft you’re like yeah they missed on that one but they had guys who looked like they were going to be something and then just never became anything and that’s where you wonder was a development or was it just that we overrated them from the jump probably a little bit of both probably a little bit of both yeah but look in the end this draft is going to be judged on the top two guys Travis kkny I think clear-cut best pick in this draft unless oh for sure unless you are in the draft class the flyer track class unless you are really really high at Ivan fedotov and you think that like well they were playing the long game and they waited nine years and ultimately got him kkny is the best pick they get him at 24 he is the best player on the Flyers right now yeah clearly the best pick oh yeah man the Ivan proov pick looks and feels different today than it did even five years ago that’s an interesting one because that’s another one where you look at who went after him in the first round um I mean like in hindsight K you take kky at seven before you take of course yeah but yeah you got guys like ranton you got reny Sam sonov Sam sonov barel barzel barzel was a guy I really liked at seven um tennis G Dennis kov um yeah it’s and I know that you you’ve argued on several occasions that you think that proov was a development thing because they rushed him and they gave him too much responsibility out of the gates I do I think there is another Universe where Ivan proval is a very good number two defenseman in the NHL however I don’t think in retrospect looking at what he became and getting to know his skill set better by watching him year after year I don’t think retrospectively I don’t think he ever had number one Norris Trophy caliber defens and potential which is why in retrospect it’s like man I wish they would have taken M Randon or I I wish they would have taken Zack rinsky or something I I was gonna ask if you would today take warnky Pro oh today absolutely 100% I would say I mean I think rensy is a better defensive than proall today um would rensky have dealt with the same [ __ ] in terms of Developmental problems if he was taken by Philadelphia maybe maybe he gets full of himself too because he’s thrust into a number one role immediately I don’t know I don’t know if you could take the the [ __ ] out of Ivan proov like I’m not sure if that was drilled into him by the flyers or if he’s just that guy no I as someone who covered him yeah you would know better I don’t think and it look it takes a lot for me to think that like someone is just an [ __ ] yeah I don’t like I I I don’t think Ivan proov was always a tough guy to coach yeah I think he got pumped up enough that he started to believe his own hype and that was the problem and if you just don’t pump him up we can get in the time machine and have him spend the first three years of his career as a second pair defenseman rather than a 25 minute night guy maybe he just develops differently as a player and as a person yeah maybe never get high on your own Supply kids never get high on your own Supply so I would say kkny definitely best pick oh easily worst pick I mean in terms of of impact proov might be because there were so many other guys better but like then you look at guys like Toc and Dove McFalls and it’s like man they got literally nothing out of those picks yeah and to in the third round like I feel like you can find you know at least a bottom of the lineup serviceable NHL player in the third round and Tock is none of those things veroia for me is the biggest disappointment I really thought he was going to be something I really thought like oh [ __ ] look what they found in the fourth round no he was was he the guy that was just kind of like a a no effort quitter kind of guy or was that the other Russian guy no so veru ev’s thing from what I understood was that basically he thought he was a scoring Center and he could do that in the AHL if he was going to become an NHL Center he was going to have to accept that he’s a bottom sixer because he just didn’t have the the the speed and the skill to be a second line Center but he wanted to play like a second line Center and that frustrated the hell out of the coaches that frustrated they frustrated his teammates there was just a feeling that he thought he was better than he actually was and he could have recalibrated his game to fit in the NHL but he would much rather just be a top six center in the KHL and like hey that’s what he is so cool good for you what’s really interesting about this is it’s like you never get to find out about a 10-year-old draft pick like now yeah and we are going to get to find out what Ivan fedotov is and it is possible it’s possible that he’s a very good goenda but it’ll be super cool if like it ends up that the seventh round pick in the 20 15 draft like rescues the flyers from their own [ __ ] like that would be really interesting if that happens it truly will be interesting and I don’t really have a nice segue for this one but I’m just going to it would be cool and you know what else is cool what’s cool sunglasses sunglasses are pretty cool they are pretty cool and after the show is done I’m going to be jumping in my car driving to the ad read that yeah great exactly uh now we are going to move in because I think these first two years especially in the moment it felt like hexa was drafting well you know he got Pro rol and kekney the next I believe the next day was when he traded Pronger and Gman it was that same week when he got Ronaldo Trader for the Ronaldo trade everybody was feeling great about hex 2016 I think is when you start the the turn the skepticism starts coming yeah the 2016 draft was a lot of picks they make a lot of picks it really in retrospect was a bad this is a bad bad draft the one pick that the Flyers were going to be able to hang their hat on and hexo was going to be able like well at least we got Carter Hart and then well Carter har yeah gets charged with sexual assault and at the very least I think his Flyers career is over there is a non-zero chance his entire NHL career is over because number one even if he’s cleared I don’t know if anybody’s signing him and certainly if it turns out that he’s found guilty no then yeah then he’s going to be in jail and he would deserve to be but looking at this class Hart was always the guy who you could look at and say well they got something out of it but going through this class oh man we got the germ who I don’t know if he was never that skilled because there were there were brief periods where he would show something and then he got hurt he would show up for camp and not seem like he was fully engag he the lazy one no he was the guy and I I don’t think this is true but he was the guy who Twitter Flyers Twitter decided that the reason why he stunk was because he was addicted to video games oh my God that’s really because remember Jeff marrick put in one of his in one of his podcasts that like there’s a prospect taken and he like kind of like was vague about it and it looks like he’s going to be a bust and people think he’s addicted to video games and Flyers fans decided that was the jerk that was the thing that was the rubs off connection I have no idea if that’s true or not I just know the Flyers Twitter just collectively decided that he was addicted to video games but even going beyond that who you’ve got Pascal leers where he gets taken before Alex a Brink that’s rough leberge I do not know if he would have been good or not had he not suffered the really bad concussion he had the really bad concussion in his draft plus one season never really was the same guy after I really liked Wade Allison as a prospect but hey now he’s an AHL he got traded to Nashville and they didn’t seem to anything in him either so maybe that’s just all he was he also dealt with injuries I’m going to continue to believe in Wade Allison I love him he was so fun yeah he’s F player I I think if torz hadn’t decided that he was bad maybe he would have gotten and maybe this speaks to again Player Development issues maybe then you’ve got two picks that I didn’t like at the time in Carson trinsky and Connor bunman to me that they they were both lower upside picks rather than the bigger swings that I prefer in the mid rounds triny’s claim to fame is that he was the guy that got taken in the expansion draft by seatt right and Conor bunman had some moments he played a little bit but ultimately is a AHL caliber player lenus hogberg I liked for a bit Tanner lazinski I liked for a bit he’s still produced for the Phantoms last year but doesn’t look like he’s an NHL player at least not in this organization uh Salon tree never really amounted to anything I don’t believe he even got signed itely know who that is David burnhard was just a big swed who never really developed because the skating wasn’t there in retrospect holy crap this is a bad draft class yeah when you’re one when the one good pick undeniably good pick like might be a rapist yeah yikes to be fair he wasn’t when they made this pick that is fair that the the incident happened after the draft so it’s not like it’s not like they made the pick with the knowledge and that’s why he slipped no that happened after but I mean the the rots off pick in retrospect looks horrible yeah I’m looking at this might be the worst one probably the worst one I’m looking at who went after him this guess it wasn’t a particularly strong draft it looks like we could have had Tage Thompson that would have been neat but it took Tage Thompson years to become Tage Thompson we would have quit on him AG they would have traded him the same way that did without um yeah the germ was just not a good pick it’s just one of those things that where I’m looking I’m looking at this I mean I guess Trent Frederick maybe he’s fine yeah I mean it’s it wasn’t a great draft that is true but there were picks to be had and the Flyers did not make them did not have them let’s put it that way they did not have them like there are picks that there were good picks before like Boston hit a home run with Charlie McAvoy obviously but that was at 14 yo pretty good like the Flyers trade do trade down to get you know to get rots off but I believe their original pick was it was after makoy gets taken I know Steph at the time loved Jacob CH that was the big fear this is that they were going to pick Jacob CH I still don’t like him I don’t understand I think he’s a good defenseman I don’t think he’s a great defens but he’s he’s he’s a solid top four defense whatever and the Flyers have been linked to him a little bit over the last few months all the time I feel like we’re linked to him probably just because of his dad but um you are right though that this was a weak class the big Miss is to Brink it like like how how he slip to the second round how cuz he’s small Charles because he’s small that is the reason which again this goes back to the conversation we had yesterday like could we learn a single lesson small does not equal bad small could be quite good like we could have Alex to Brink it if we weren’t scared of dudes under six feet tall yeah this is true you’re not wrong respect the short Kings respect the short Kings okay so 2016 draft at the time there were multiple guys you thought could be something in the end pretty much no one other than har became anything yeah bad class then we get the 2017 class H boy okay oh in like okay the Noah Kates pick looks real good it does and the Morgan Frost pick looks fine yeah like get to get a a legitimate middle six center at number 27 not bad solid pick both solid picks the rest of the class guys that Ratcliffe pick who boy y look we’ve litigated the Nolan Patrick pick so much obviously everyone knows they would have been better off taking any of the three guys that were taken after Nolan Patrick and the failing of that was the fact that hexall was told by the majority of his Scouts take hinin yeah and instead he was like no Patrick’s the guy we need a center I’ve got the Brandon we Kings connection we’re going with what I will say and I know we would been leading the charge on this in the moment had he not taken Patrick he would have gotten eviscerated I me we would have killed him for it in the moment that pick would have been super controversial and we would have killed Ron hexall for passing up on the sure thing Nolan Patrick however I guess is what separates the the not great GMS from the great GMS is that the great GMS have the guts to deal with the Fallout if they think that’s the right pick yes and one thing that came to mind for me when we were talking with Chris yesterday and then when we talked about the segment afterwards yeah you said about the fact that it makes you feel good that Danny Brier seems to be on the ground with his Scouts one benefit of that is I do wonder if if you put Danny Brier in the same position where most of the scouts are telling him take henan I think he’s more likely to take H I think so too because he is he has a closer relationship with the scout he trusts the more he’s been there right he’s been doing it and if the scouts tell him this is the guy I think he’s more likely to trust him yeah and being on the ground with them he would have had the opportunity to know precisely why they were telling him to take he skin and it wouldn’t just been you know like empty advice that you had no firsthand experience with like he probably would have at some point seen he skin in play with his own eyes and understood why they were telling him to pick that looking at this list like liell in the sixth round is not a bad pick it’s a fine pick I mean he’s he’s he’s probably a quad guy but in the sixth round sure W cuk I know they didn’t sign him but he got a look with uh with Chicago um I think what really what the what the linking feature about Ron hexol drafts and this is why we get into this big is it Player Development or is it drafting most of the guys he took that didn’t pan out had stretches after being drafted where it looked like they were going to like Isaac rackliff scored 50 goals one year in juniors right K stenco had some moments Matthew stro scored shishko had a good World Juniors for uh for Belarus I believe like LEL had moments in the shl and he’s now still maybe an NHL player I guess we’ll see even going back to LA the last draft class you know Allison trinsky bunnaman hogberg lazinski all of these guys at one point looked like potential nhlers and not just before the draft after the draft it’s just that none of them actually got there yeah and I I think it’s I mean it’s I think pretty clear at this point to anyone paying attention to the Flyers that they had both a development problem and a medical staff problem true and this new front office I mean essentially acknowledged that by kind of wholesale replacing at least the medical staff that brought in that new guy I mean like it was it was pretty clear that the Flyers organization during this time period had a lot of problems behind the scenes that I think a lot of people weren’t privy to because you know you don’t really hear about the development staff pretty a lot of times you don’t really hear about like who’s doing the training for these guys until all of a sudden wait everyone’s getting hurt what everyone’s getting core muscle injuries like what’s going on here yeah um and there’s a reason why experts outside of the Philadelphia area National media guys hockey guys Canadian media dudes like they were all ranking the Flyers Prospect pool extremely high because as you said all of them looked good for a stretch of time after the drafts and then they just dud it out yeah they just they just topped out and they never never reached that point that you thought they might reach right and it just added to the frustration because it also adds to I think why fans are so jaded right now because it’s like they feel like they were sold a bill of goods on these prospects and I don’t really think that’s true because there were there it’s not like the production wasn’t real it’s just that a lot of these guys who were like 5050 maybe they’ll work maybe they won’t they it all came up Tales everything came up Tails one which is why it has to be a process problem because not that doesn’t happen everything’s 50/50 eventually you hit on one eventually hit on something I mean and obviously this draft in retrospect the big painful thing and this was very painful especially this season is you look at Dallas and you have Dallas takes H hinin right after Patrick they take ottinger right after Frost and they take Robertson basically right after rackliff and in one draft they changed the fortunes of their franchise and in theory the Flyers could have had all three of those players it’s rough yeah it’s rough when I think about that I just end up staring into the middle distance it’s not good for podcasting but yeah it’s uh it’s hard to look back on the hexel era and think of it whole sale is anything other than a failure which really sucks because I do think that with just like a few tiny tweaks like really could have made something which is why I don’t like when people when people argue that Brier is just doing what hexall did and they say that in a derogatory way I don’t I don’t necessarily view that as a bad thing because I think what hexall did could have worked yes it just didn’t but it wasn’t like it wasn’t that the plan was inherently flawed it was the execution just just wasn’t there in multiple ways but also is Briar even doing what hexal did I mean in a way that he’s not he’s not tanking he’s not Bing me me out he’s not selling everyone just to you know gut the thing and then try to be try to pick in the top five for three4 straight years the way that I could talk about this for the rest of my life you know how many teams like how many teams actually do that very few the Blackhawks did the Blackhawks did and honestly it’s gonna remain to be seen if it actually works because I mean until this year the Oilers had shown that you can get a whole [ __ ] ton of top picks and you can get the best player in the world and you’re still not gonna do anything and they might not win this year either like we’ll see Florida’s pretty good so it’s just like could we stop acting like teams tearing it down to the studs is a thing that actually happens in the modern NHL all the time and the Flyers aren’t doing it like it’s not a thing what I’ve always said is that the tanks The Accidental that team that that work the best are the ones that were done by or like maybe you did it for one like Toronto Toronto purposely bottomed out one year yeah the other years where they picked all their other studs they were trying to win they were just dumb I mean thanks Chuck we’re gonna talk about Chuck but thank you Chuck for The Accidental tank for The Accidental tank so before uh we get to our next ad read I want to finish out the hexol so we have one last draft for the hexer 2018 there are some some picks in this draft that look good Joel far a perfectly solid 14th round pick or 14th overall pick I think so Sam Arison looking like a really good fifth round pick yeah I think it’s very obvious who the worst pick in this is ah j o bran you [ __ ] j o Bryan why were you picking high school kids Ron in a way like this was a big swing pick yeah we want them to take big swings it was a big swing it was just an embarrassing whiff and I think for me at the at the time what was frustrating was that I thought there was another big swing player available that wasn’t as risky but had basically the same kind of reward in kandre Miller and oh that’s right this is the Miller pick I thought they should have taken Miller and in retrospect they really should have taken Miller yeah yeah they really should have that was rough honestly you know what they should have done they should have they should have traded up and got a Brady kachuck why didn’t they do that yeah why didn’t they do that that would have been brilliant they had first round picks exactly but the rest of this draft too I think what what really rubbed me the wrong way and I remember writing about this in the moment what really rubbed me the wrong way about the rest of this draft is that it just seemed so low ceiling Adam xinning would they were basically drafting Robert hag purposely whereas when they drafted when when Hol drafted Robert he was the hope that he could be a two-way you know he can score and he can defend and then they turned him into a defense only guy yeah whereas with jinning he was always only a defense only guy like that’s just what he was and they spent an early second round pick on him jack ivany I believe if I remember correctly was an over rager he had gotten past over once in the draft Wyatt Wy like he fifth round guys who were small and like and are are Canadian hockey league guys they usually don’t pan out Gavin hanne was a whatever Marcus Westfall was big like it just it was a very it was a very inspiring draft from the jump and I said this as somebody who really really liked Joel fary Joel farab was my guy who’s he’s who I wanted them to take a 14 I was thrilled yeah I remember step was real high on him too the rest of this draft I hated from the jump and with the exception of Arison who was one of the only guys were at the time I was like I know nothing about him but sure like take a flyer on a a junior Swedish goalie who maybe you have more information about than everybody else the rest of the picks I was like well this is really really underwhelming and it proved to be really really underwhelming and it ended the Ron hexer and honestly like you know well earned on the way out the door Bud like you really blew this one oh yeah he sure did Kelly after looking at especially these last three giraffe classes from Ron I think I need to chill you know what I think we all need to chill we really need to chill we really need to chill and I will say that I already have my my cooler packed if in my car with some Kors light for some much needed chill time on the beach this weekend look we’ve talked about Kors light for a long time on this show when you need to chill the Rockies are there Kors light is there for you we got the two early Phillies games this weekend I’m sure both those games will will create sufficient stress where a chill time is needed course light it’s cold logger cold filtered and cold packaged for a smoother finish so make the best the make the most out of the times you choose to chill choose Kors light get Kors light delivered straight to your door with instacart by going to coorslight.com phly hockey celebrate responsibly Kors Brewing Company Golden Colorado what a time to be alive what a Time bringing the cores light right to you you know it was not a great time to be alive though what’s that chck the Chuck Fletcher here you know what you’re not wrong hyperbolic perhaps but I don’t know I think we had some moments during the Chuck Fletcher era when we extremely wanted to throw ourselves off of the wall Whitman so you know but was wasn’t the best time to be have chilled back then to be a Flyers fan I don’t I don’t even know if Kors light had the abity to get us to chill as great of a chill Merchant as that is not sure if it would have helped us through the Chuck Fletcher year the first Chuck Fletcher year draft in 2019 this is when there was still hope and that then the next season 2019 2020 season very good season so it’s interesting to take a look at this draft not terrible not terrible cam York I know at the time everyone wanted Cole Coffield we did it’s possible that Chuck might have been right yeah because cole really has dropped off quite a bit really dropped off from his uh really hot start as the small goals boy he’s he’s a good player he’s fine but it looks like cam y’s a good player too and it doesn’t look like Cole Coffield at the moment is going to be a star no and if he’s not a star then getting a solid four defenseman with the upside maybe to be a top pair guy when he’s at a ceiling in cam York might have been the better pick yeah it is more of a slow burn and we have no patience so that that this is fair yeah they get they get Bobby Brink because they trade down they trade down they get the the the additional second round pick and they pick Bobby Brink he looks good I I am still very high on Bobby Brink I think that he needs to start doing I mean cuz we are stuck with John torella for the foreseeable he needs to start doing whatever is the thing that John ttoa is asking him to do that he’s clearly not doing well enough and I think that he can stick in the lineup and I think that his upside is just a lot of fun middle sixer yeah and I like fun Charlie fun play fun players tend to be enjoyable to watch he’s awesome he’s tiny he looks like he’s 12 he does he’s fun when he’s on the ice like I need this kind of player in my organization because we’ve got to watch all of these games and I would like there to be some fun in them and Bobby Brink I think is just pure fun when he’s like really going in retrospect this class is fine I I don’t think it’s great because the bottom half of the class they got nothing out of it like we we’ll see we’ll see about Ronnie Adder he’s still in the mix seems like he could be could be he might just be a quad guy but he’s in the mix and he might be on the Flyers next year and then we’ll see what having him over a full season Mason milman Serio Rod Ross Bryce brazinski brazinski was the last guy who had a chance really they did not sign him so or they’re not going to sign him I don’t know if they’ve actually hit the uh the deadline for that but he is he will no longer be part of the Flyers organization by the end of the summer yeah um you just would have liked for them to have gotten one good pick in the later rounds but if you come out of a draft with two clear-cut NHL players both of whom might end up being above average NHL players I think it’s a solid draft so Mason milman in the fourth round like he’s gotten some he yeah but he he he’s been with the AHL team he spent a lot of time in the ECHL he look I don’t hate that pick from a process standpoint because what they were doing with that pick was he was super tiny had a lot of things to work on but he could skate yeah a really good skater and it’s like you know what in the fourth round take a swing on a guy with one Elite characteristic yeah it just didn’t turn into but I I didn’t hate the the process and thought process behind the pick no and I it’s hard to get mad about a fourth round pick not hitting did did Bill like Rody Ross I feel like that name is something that bill would have glomed on to immediately he liked Rody Ross because he sounded like a wrestler Rody exactly sounds like a wrestler yeah yeah that’s what we have a lot of people here in uh in our comment section basically saying this was this was the alliteration draft oh man it was we got we got Bobby Brink Mason milman Rody Ross Bryce brazinski I forgot the best thing about Bob they went heavy with the the double letters his name is Bobby or Brink yeah his parents knew what they were doing like this kid rules I really need him they were on the manifestation Trend before manifestation got big on and they did it and they did it love that for them although he he’s not a defenseman so there’s there’s that yeah but you know he’d be scoring goals he’d be scoring goals Bobby y did score a lot of goals especially for a defenseman yeah okay next draft class this is a small one because this was in the height of the Chuck Fletcher is going forward era and he traded away a lot of picks that’ll be a uh a theme in the next draft as well but this draft you had five picks we got Tyson Forester at 23 we get Emil Andre second round pick we get Zade wisdom in the fourth round Elliot danoa in the fifth Conor mclenon in the sixth so the Forester pick is looking real good real good real good that’s about this I mean I guess Andre has possib I still believe in I do the Zade wisdom pick was I think it was it was a fun pick at the time it was and I really like the kid he seems like a a good kid he seems like he’s fun but he’s he’s not very good yes at hockey it he was really exciting in that first year after the draft because remember the uh the OHL I believe it was wasn’t playing so he got to play in the in the AHL when normally he wouldn’t be able to and he looked good yeah and you’re like [ __ ] they might have a steal here I don’t know what happened to him from a developmental perspective but he just and he even he even looked good at Camp last year at Flyers Camp he was impressive he stood out in the rookie games he stood out in the uh the early portion of Camp okay and then he just didn’t do anything with it during the season so I’d love to see him turn it around but at this point you would have to say it would be a surprise if he does yeah Dayo could be something I liked that pick because Halifax he was a moose head yeah which makes me like him instantly um obviously he had the score and dip this past year but he looks like he could be a solid bottom sixer I think he could I I still believe in him as a a a good bottom six player and another one who has the potential to be a lot of fun okay because he was super fun in juniors um but you know right now I I do think that it’s he’s got a bit of a a road in front of him if he wants to make it to the NHL and I hope that he does does um so that pick I I I think you could call that a good pick in the fifth round oh I think it’s a really good pick in the fifth round even to get a guy who still has a chance that’s true good round yeah uh Conor mlon he scored a lot the Flyers ultimately decided that they didn’t want to offer him a contract so that’s a no go uh wisdom is right now looking like a bust you’re hoping that maybe he bounces back but he’s had a quite a few down years in a row not sure if you will to only have five picks and to potentially get you definitely have one clear-cut NHL and you could end up with three this is a good draft Yeah Yeah Yeah talking it out it’s pretty good and given the fact that this was 2020 I mean this was a this was a weird draft the next draft is even weirder because obviously all of everyone was yeah yeah there were some guys who didn’t play it was an odd draft but I think Fletcher and Bren Flair the assistant general manager who pretty much runs the drafts for or still runs the drafts for the Flyers but ran them for Chuck I think they did well in this draft as well as they could have given the limited draft pick resources they had going in yeah I I was getting ready to say you know like maybe we should give Chuck a little bit more credit for his drafting but now I’m looking ahead at 2021 and I’m taking it back so before we get to 2021 though I do want to talk to you a little bit about Trumark Financial look the flyers in the 2020 draft they may have been aiming for some added wisdom but I’ll tell you something that would show real wisdom what’s that banking with our friends at Trumark Financial right so what makes TruMark different from your average bank it’s a credit union and when you join a credit union like Trum Mark Financial you become part owner which means profits come back to you instead of going to shareholders and a credit union it just it comes with that Personal Touch in a way that the big Banks just don’t you’re not dealing with a faceless monolith you’re dealing with real people you’re dealing with people who you can go to you can go to the branch they can talk to people who run the bank in an hour rather than it being some gigantic corporation that runs the whole thing and you’re never going to actually have anything remotely resembling a personal touch with true Mark Financial you’re getting a banking option with better rates lower fees better return on savings and more flexible options but with all the same digital tools and Tech that the big banks have which is nice it also has local routs headquartered in Fort Washington with 24 branches in the Philly area so head over to trumark.com phly to learn more or to find a branch near you that’s trumark.com phly federally insured by the NCA we are going with the 2021 draft the third of the Chuck Fletcher drafts now there is a conspicuous absence of a first round pick where go Charlie where did it go where’ it go I wonder what happened I’m sure they probably got something really good for they they got real good value first round pick for no a mid first round pick this was I believe the 14 13 or 14 13 or 14 mhm this is a high first round pick must have been something real good it was one Rasmus rist l oh it was rist sure was so first round pick is gone wamp because they traded for risto in retrospect actually not even in retrospect at the time an extremely questionable decision so they leave themselves without a first round pick they do have their second third fourth fifth sixth and seventh round picks in this draft and for those not watching on YouTube second round pick was Samu tuala third round pick Alexi kof fourth round pick Brian zenetti fifth was Ty Merson sixth Ethan Samson seventh Owen McLaughlin now we’re getting to the drafts where the jury is still out but out of these six I would say you have two clear-cut legitimate prospects in two all in kof yeah you have one in mlin who’s a maybe is he he’s one of their Center prospects now gr tell you what Charlie I don’t know a goddamn thing about ow mclin he’s a local guy is he he’s a local kid from here yeah oh in that case I’m all in I think he’s from like the Valley Forge area he’s a local kid he uh he’s currently at North Dakota had a legitimately really good year okay um with them a point per game he plays like a plays like a center um I don’t know what he’s going to be but he’s a legitimate Prospect and the Flyers seem to have some faith in Ethan Samson I am not as high on him but he’s in their AHL their AHL system he’s a right-handed shooting defenseman maybe he plays gonna be a thing there for a little while I feel like I mean never good he’s big is he’s been in some World Juniors okay I don’t know where that’s going to go to me zetti Emer Center probably bus but as usual with a Brian am I right yeah you and your Brian’s sorry but anyway I would say two am all in kof currently your Top 10 Prospects in the system mlock and Samson are at least in the system and they’re May so not a great draft but you put yourself behind the proverbial late ball when you trade away your first round pick for [ __ ] rest for line yeah and as good as Tu amalo might be he uh falls into the Bizarro Flyers Dallas Stars situation because they took stankoven Soven right after him yeah to them all though it looked like this time last year I would be calling to a Model A bus and I’d be like man this this is a really questionable giraff for he had a real good last year comes over solidifies himself as a clearcut above average AHL player at Young AG he’s fast he he would bring I think a speed element that this team is really embracing with the new torella style he’s turned into to me a legitimately exciting prospect now I don’t think he’s a top sixer right I think he is a a nice Speedy bottom sixer um like maybe like kind of like an Andrew cogliano like those Ty of guys where they know their role they know their role and their role is to be fast and quick and to just wreak havoc when you’re on the ice and I think he’s embracing that kind of role so I’m excited about tuala but I don’t want anybody to think that he’s like a star he is a guy that I he’s one of the guys that I’m hoping gets a longer look with the Flyers this season because I I do want to see what he is you know what I mean like we’ve talked a lot about how next season is going to be another season when you want to learn what you’ve got in some of these kids and Tu Amala is one I think I would like to see a longer look at I from what I’ve heard um to Amala they think he needs another year okay but if he gets off to a real real strong start maybe that changes the timeline yeah I don’t think he’s making the team out of Camp let put it no injury call up probably injury call up possibly or maybe he just breaks the door down and earns it sure now we’re on to the final draft class of the Chuck Fletcher era they did take a player in the first round this year he will never play a game for the Philadelphia Flyers but they did take sucks they did use a first round pick the 2022 draft of course is the cutter goate draft they took him fifth overall Billy Goat as as some people call him uh third round they take Devin Kaplan out of the US national team development program in the fifth they take Alex bump the sixth Jonesy’s favorite Prospect Hunter McDonald he’s goingon to be something uh the seventh they have Sant suu and Alexis uh gendin jenden I believe I think it’s Marty Jin’s kid he’s a flyer scal um this is a tough one to evaluate because we are still so we we’re still so close like it just happened Devin Kaplan I think has upside as a legitimate Prospect he’s he’s more of a project but he there’s there’s something to work with there he could be a good middle six Winger maybe who’s Big who brings a unique element Alex bump yeah had a good year this past year um he was he’s a college guy some people I talked to in the Flyers organization they bring him up as a potential Diamond of the rough guy with legitimate skill and then the Flyers clearly think Hunter McDonald can be a NHL caliber defenseman bring that nasty mean element that Jonesy and the Gang thinks they need the way they are obsessed with Hunter McDonald like the way they are pushing him on us like it’s I’m fascinated by him just because I need to understand why you are so obsessed with this sixth round pick I know he’s big but like this or like this front office doesn’t seem to be like they’re going to just be like oh big must have like they don’t seem like these guys so the fact that they’re so obsessed with him like I need to know what they are seeing like do you know what like what what they see in him is they see a guy their view of him is that he number one he’s huge number two he’s mean so he’s not just big he he HS and he hurts people they love that we love that they also think that while he’s never going to be an offensive Dynamo they think he moves the puck well enough okay to be a compliment to a puck mover and not be a liability offensively I have some skepticism because generally speaking guys that score as poorly as he did at the college level yeah they don’t translate to the NHL level right I guess they are always allers and they believe that Hunter McDonald is going to be outlier we’ll see if they’re right and here’s the thing like I’ve been saying it over and over again I 100% trust this front office so like I’m inclined to believe there must be something there because I I just don’t yet have any reason to think they’re stupid um so like I guess we’ll see I’m super high on Devin Kaplan for a very scientific reason what’s up I somehow ended up sitting next to his Billet dad at the Chicago Pearl Jam show oh did you he was showing me pictures of Devin on his phone it was extremely random but so obviously dein kaplan’s going to be a star because Billet dad is a projam fan it’s science yeah great great tast can’t argue with it there we go I don’t want to talk about William [ __ ] that dude I mean here’s the thing about William so at this point I know that people still think that this was a Danny Brier failing but the way that you have explained this to me on several occasions and how as you’ve done in this show it’s clear to me that he’s just a dick he’s like he’s he’s a dick he’s got a bad attitude he’s probably not the kind of guy you want on your hockey team we don’t know yet if he’s going to be good he’s probably going to be good like I’m not gonna pretend he’s not he’s probably you would assume he’s gonna be a pretty darn good NHL player but like I don’t think outside of giving him exactly what he wanted which by the way never would have worked with John torella like if you have someone who’s making demands on you as a 19-year-old who’s never played an NHL game you’re going to bring him into a John torella run hockey team think that’s going to go well it probably wouldn’t have he probably would have hated him and he would have been a little piss baby about it like Ivan proov I it’s just like I I don’t want to relitigate this draft for the rest of my life and I feel like we’re probably going to have to but yeah the Flyers did the best that they possibly could with a real [ __ ] situation hopefully Jamie Dale ends up being something remains to be seen but you ended up with a solid Prospect in exchange for someone who was never going to play for your organization the bad thing about all of this is now I don’t ever want to take another American kid ever again they have too much control I need these children to be locked up in prison they have no choice no this is like extremely not the way that I feel about anything but like after this happening I like no if I draft you onto my hockey team you are stuck with me until I say otherwise so I I am now scared of all the US national development team kids Beast like the the college thing seems scary like you don’t want to draft anyone else that could have possibly been poisoned which is an irrational response very stupid I’m not going to pretend any of this makes sense but like it’s just frustrating because we were so excited about getting a pick that high we were so excited about drafting him he seemed to be super psyched to be joining the organization it all just sucks way it dids yeah it’s a bummer but I do I do think that we do when we look at this draft class you need to basically in your head erase cutter and think of that as Jamie Dale yeah and then you’re evaluating the draft class basically well cutter goate turned it into Jamie Dale so in Jamie drio you get a guy who was the six overall pick in 2020 yeah if so even if he becomes a stud then that is functionally your 2022 first round draft pick right and you shall see and and that’ll be good if that happens I think you can look at this and be like okay we did all right cuz the the rest of them I don’t know yeah I mean k Kaplan bump and McDonald look like they’ll at least have a chance yeah yeah McDonald maybe wouldn’t have had a chance at another organization but he’s found an organization that values what he is and they’re going to give him a look I mean he’s going to get NHL games whether whether he stinks in those games remains to be seen but he’s going to get a shot 100% I mean it’s it’s very clear that there’s like no Universe in which Hunter McDonald is not getting look on the Flyers because they’re obsessed with him maybe he ends up being Bill mat’s new favorite player I don’t know but it’s just so weird like they’re there there’s not a single Prospect in the organization that they talk about as much as Hunter McDonald it’s fascinating to me like i’ms like I’m I really can’t wait to see him actually play an NHL hockey game because I need to know why the Hy why so obsessed why the hype yes and now we’ll close it out with the first hexall draft we talked a lot about this this week the 2023 NHL draft obviously headlined by MAF mitchoff got Oliver Bon we got Carson bjis we got zagen we got Denver Barky Cole Canal Alex cherick Carter San Ryan mcferson one of two twins we’ll see if they pick the right twin and then Matteo man um we just don’t know we just don’t know obviously mitchoff is now the hope of the organization Bon looks like a great pick Barky looks great I mean right now this looks like a [ __ ] great but again you could have said that like looking back at like for example the hexall draft in 20 16 like when we still thought the germ was going to be good Le Burge Hart Allison you know lazinski you’re thinking that draft is going to be great we’ll we’ll have to wait and see I will say I like the process of this draft I like the big swings on skill with mitchoff with with Barky with chernick with sotheran um Bon looks like might have been a pick where they saw more skill than everybody else did maybe and then zagen I really like that pick because that’s the kind of pick where you flex your your scouting muscles a little bit where the Flyers because they have money they can afford to have a Russian Scout in Russia the way that most teams don’t and they can afford to have that guy watch a aagon and say this guy’s for real those are ways around the salary count where you have the ability to just Scout a a large you a larger scouting footprint than most teams can and maybe they found a stud in zagen because other teams just didn’t watch him as much as the Flyers did because they couldn’t because they don’t have the money right and this is where once again like people who think that Comcast owning the team is bad no it’s actually good because when like one dude owns the team you end up you know with a a Dundon who you know is looking at the bottom line the Flyers the entire Flyers organization is like a rounding error for Comcast like it’s so little money to this company in the grand scheme of things that like yeah they’re not going to give a [ __ ] if you’re spending $150,000 a year to pay a scout to watch games in Russia they don’t know what that money like that’s like pennies to them they don’t care so this is where people need to understand that like sometimes a giant faceless Corporation is a good thing for owning your hockey team because they don’t give a [ __ ] about this money it’s nothing to them I mean I I don’t I don’t disagree with you yeah so we shall see how the Danny Brier draft class plays out over the long term we’re going to in the next couple weeks have another Danny Brier giraff class to break down and analyze but this a good F around Friday but before we go want to talk to you a little bit about what we’re building here at phly it’s a really exciting time to become part of the PHL Community First off become a die hard I published another story this morning this is a breakdown of the potential options I would say the most likely options at number 12 we have John fiser saying fly that a mock D had the Flyers picking Michael Haye love Michael Hae do not think he is a viable option at 12 but there are about 12 or 13 players who I think are in terms of being in that second tier after mlin celebrini I broke down for our die hards the case for and the case against every single one so check that out become a die hard we also over the last couple days we had a deep di from Zack Burman on the report of Jeffrey lurry maybe selling some of his steak in the Eagles we had a column from the legendary Les Bowen about the Eagles late season collapse so it’s not just Flyers coverage you get if you sign out the Die Hard you get coverage of all the Philly sports teams and the best coverage around and that’s just the Die Hard stuff we also have so many events for people who want to become part of the phly community we have the phly first annual Liberty open July 13th at Valleybrook Country Club scramble format sign up as a single as a a group of four sponsor a whole there’s so much you can do um we got tournament gifts and tea prizes we got taste a Philly dinner post round ceremony unlimited draft beer for two hours after the round I will be there then we’ve got our Phillies watch parties coming up this weekend at Gall and Company on Saturday so tomorrow and then on Sunday so sign up for those on phly.com and then what do we have Kelly we got the draft party we got the draft party so this is super exciting for us so it’s the seventh year that Broad Street hockey has thrown a draft party and the first year that we are getting to do it with the phly team which is awesome because everyone here rules Charlie and Bill the best in the business and this is going to be awesome so we’re doing it at the BET Park Sportsbook which is at 700 Packer Avenue so pretty much the same setup as we’ve been doing the last few years at the live casino tons of parking for people coming from the suburbs easy to get to on Transit if you’re in the city it’s going to be a lot of fun we’re going to have some giveaways from the Flyers we’re going to have food there’ll be drink specials like it’s going to be as fun as it always is there’s nothing I’ve said it a million times there’s nothing better than watching Flyers stuff in a room full of Flyers fans and this is an exciting time to be a Flyers fan it’s another like I said this is going to be another bit of finding out information so we can all be in the same room to either be really excited about what Danny Brier does or be really pissed off it’s always more fun to do either one of those things with your friends so I hope that people come out six o’clock June 28th it’s going to be a lot of fun Charlie will not be there because he’s cool and he will be in the lightup ball and I will be covering the draft in Vegas but maybe I’ll find a way to call in we’ll see we’ll see you’ll get me and Bill yeah and this this is a it’s it’s really a tradition I mean this has just become I feel like you know for a lot of people they go every year yeah and we’ love we’d love to open it up to even more people yes exactly I’m hoping that we get some new faces even more people coming with the the pH fam joining in it’s gonna be awesome exactly and uh for JH no it’s not the Square Casino in Ben Salem it is the park sports book in South Philly on Packer Avenue on Packer Avenue we’re talking about like relatively close to the Arenas yes yes very close to the Arenas very easy to get to and like I said tons of parking if you’re coming from the suburbs also uh wanted to mention uh PHL PHL y flyer is presented by mortgage CS check out mortgage cs.com phly to start your home buying process today company NM lsid number 146 4766 Kelly thanks so much for joining the show today thanks for having was a good F around Friday thanks again for the intro by Dan hordy and I hope all of you have a great weekend we will see you on Monday [Music] [Applause] we all sting like the mayor
