back with Bruce budro and Brian Hayes guys only once has a team come back from down three nothing to win the Stanley Cup that was 82 years ago the Oilers are starting to make Believers out of their fans and striking fear into the hearts of Panther fans Brian I got to ask you how nervous would you be if this potential collapse was happening to your team and not the Panthers well I’m from Toronto Gino so I actually have a lot of history with this I would be a nervous it would be a disaster I’d be contemplating not watching that and I know you can call me a horrible fan but I think that’s the epitome of fandom when you can’t put yourself through it because psychologically the Panthers are putting their fans through the ringer right now because they’ve been a juggernaut all year they were a juggernaut through the East they I wouldn’t say steamrolled to up three nothing but they looked like they were in control and it’s one thing to get blown out in game four it’s another thing to see McDavid come alive in game five and on top of it B brosi really start to struggle so I think if I were a Panther fan I would be a nervous wreck right now I’d already start spinning this as hey it was a good run or hey if it happens it happens it’s all about the psychological warfare as a fan it’s cruel it’s unnecessary yet I would remind Panther fans and Oiler fans for that matter there’s 30 other fan bases that would happily take their place right now so enjoy the ride while you can I don’t want to say I told you so but it certainly looks like bossk’s bubble may have burst since the third period of game three he’s allowed 11 goals on just 39 shots that my friends is a 718 save percentage Bruce does this series now hinge on whether or not bosski can recover from these two horrible meltdowns well I don’t know if he can recover I mean the same thing sort of happened last year I mean I’m just wondering whether he’s getting too tired to play right now or the pressure is building on him too much but he has not looked good and especially like I can take the first game in game four that he didn’t look good cuz after maybe the fourth goal it was like okay let’s wait till next game but last game here I thought the the brown goal he moved too slow on the on the deak and the McDavid goal first one between his legs and I don’t think he made a great save the whole game I’m really worried if I’m Paul Maurice on what I’m doing next but I mean I’m more worried about if I’m Sergey brabos uh whatever his name is right now I I he’s got to have a great game for himself he’s still got a couple years left but I think this is going to be the Testament in the next two games he’s got to come up with a great one and hazer you were turning the knife yesterday when you uh tweeted out Bob sloppy again Panthers inching towards mroy territory have you completely lost faith in bosski now I I haven’t completely and that’s an unnecessary shot at mroy it’s my own tweet and I guess I should probably just accept that I sent it out and I’m not going to delete it it’s out there Ma’s got to take his licks he threw away the US Open but Bob’s on Route and doing it and I’m not completely off the bosi bandwagon but this is his history as you guys know he runs hot and he runs cold he either wins a vzna or he’s a backup goalie there doesn’t seem to be an in between with Bob and when you consider the way he played game one that’s as well as a goalie can play he was unbelievable in game one of the cup final he didn’t have to do much in game two he was good enough in game three and it’s been all downhill from here I would be terrified if I was Bob terrified if I was Maurice because like Bruce said this is your reputation right we had already handed this team the cup this the Rings were being made the the names were being engraved onto the cup it was happening and as great as mcdavid’s been and that’s the glass half full wow look at this story mcdavid’s unbelievable I think the bigger determining factor of how this is all going to play out is bosski if he returns to the way he played game one the Panthers will win one of the next two games may not be game six but it will be one of game six or seven I am fairly certain of that if he plays anywhere close to the way he did game four or game five the Oilers are going to win so it’s on Bob that’s the nature of the position and if he doesn’t snap out of it it’s a long flight from Florida to Edmonton then you’re really talking panic mode for the Florida Panthers once a lock to win the cons Mike baski is plummeted to plus 700 on FanDuel right now he’s now listed behind Sasha barov and the new overwhelming in favor to win the K smif Conor McDavid
