all right guys what’s going on welcome in so I was doing some research on K laal the G well really interior offensive lineman that the Jets just brought in from the uh UFL right at the San Antonio bras and obviously it was a positive move I would say right now inter or before the move uh took place interior offensive line was probably probably a weak spot when looking at the overall depth of the position I think a lot of people assumed that Conor McGovern was just going to resign with the team which could still very well be the case but you know after this move and you know keep in mind that the Jets did work out uh Pat effin as well Joe Douglas handpicked Laval at 26 years old when I was trying to find more information on him I came across an article from Justin Fred so shout out to him and uh he actually provided some details that didn’t come out when the signing initially happened so apparently the New York Jets ended up giving uh lava a three-year contract and it was the largest contract given to any former UFL player you know Co so a UFL player coming to the NFL it’s the biggest contract ever that is relevant in my opinion this to me does not just feel like a tryy out you know this does not just feel like a story this kind of seems again because we’re in June because we passed on Pat effin because McGovern is still out there I mean you can make an argument for multiple you know a multitude of different guys Conor Williams from the Miami Dolphins dealing with injury uh or has dealt with injury but this is the guy lava who Joe Douglas decided to go with here uh and again a quickly just highlight what he did at the UFL level he was an Elite pass blocker he didn’t allow a single sack over 800 pass block snaps over the last 2 years for San Antonio and was named to the all UFL team earlier this month so of course I don’t want to sit here right now and hype him up or you know talk about him like he’s a top 10 NFL offensive lineman or anything like that but I do feel like there’s more to this signing than just ah random summer signing this to me I’m getting excited man I I I’m really really getting excited uh again productive in college productive in the UFL the biggest contract ever handed to a UFL player and comes in at a position of need and Joe Douglas has passed on multiple opportunities to you know upgrade that position and by the way I love Joe titman I’m not talk I don’t foresee Laval beating titman out or you know AV or any any of the the starting group but if you’re talking about a versatile interior offensive lineman that has production that’s in the prime of his career and you’re getting them you know on a cheap three-year contract lowrisk High reward style of move sign me up for that every single day of the week so anyway quick little video here figured I’d do a video on it again shout out to Justin Fred uh I’ll leave that article link Down Below in the description box of course thanks so much for watching and as always go chats

  8. It's interesting how teams are signing players from the UFL and XFL this season. These guys slip through the cracks for whatever reason and teams find them later on. Qwan'tez Stiggers is a perfect example of this. JD and the scouting department are putting in some good work.
