strike out McMahon on the next three pitches he is off to a quick start it’s a 16 start for Ryan feltner and he’s got the six plus ER which he knows needs to come down consistency even with in and Outing has been an issue for feltner Houston leads off with Jose Altuve the second basem here’s a good breaking ball and it’s tapped to third mck with beautiful hands throws out Altuve Alex bregman looking to continue his hot streak Alex is hit in 22 of 24 games onew pitch breaking ball swing and a Miss Ryan feltner using the breaking ball to get his first two outs that is first strike out want to come in on Alvarez and he hits Fly ball to shallow center field and it’s a really nice first inning for Ryan feltner to match what Spencer arag Getti did one out of no and on for Michael toia he had a home run off Josh haer in the ninth inning yesterday and throwing strikes early on is a good sign swing and a miss that’s three strikeouts for Eric Getti so he’s punching some early tickets today against the Rockies he’s got three of his five outs be the K two out no one on for catcher Jacob stalling as Stallings hits it hard but he hits it at the shortstop Jeremy Peña Spencer arti retires the first six we head to the bottom of the second here’s Yer Diaz both starters off to Quick Start Spencer arti and Ryan feltner now 27 years old looking for his first win since his start on zone and there is a stolen base 15th stolen base on the year with feltner on the mound in his 16th start of the season oh that hit him right on the thigh the big man gets hit on the front leg the right leg right on the top of his thigh and he’ll take first Bas different kind of hitter now with Diaz at the plate but a guy who’s been driving in a lot of RBI there goes Altuve and the pitch is a will be not in time head first slide safely Cesar Salazar scores it’s two nothing Asos well you know Altuve is not going to waste time if he gets something he likes he’s banging he picks up his 34 RBI in the season two to nothing Astros top the sixth inning two nothing now Astros lead the Rockies it’ll be the number nine hitter for the Rockies eles Montero facing Spencer arag Getti who has been awfully impressive so far in this game swinging a Miss at a sweeper down and away and Montero down on strikes that is eight strikeouts for Spencer arti that ties a career high Tovar has two of the that we might be talking about the Astros back at 500 one week later but here they are for the first time in 2024 the Astros could call themselves a 500 baseball team as they are now 40 and 40 on the year with their longest winning streak now up to seven games what a run
