NHL Draft: First Round Recap
[Music] the premier the senator sonier de selection a do the Calgary Hitman of the WHL Carter [Music] yakam it was it was unbelievable you know I it’s a day you dream about for for so long and you know be be surrounded by my family and you know have that moment it’s uh it was unbelievable oh I’m so proud of you I think shock I had no idea then excitement I guess I think I bled out for for a second when they they said Calgary Hitman and then uh yeah it was just it was after that it was it was it was unbelievable I’m a little I’m a little lost for words right now hard hitters here for you uh who was the first person you thought of when you heard your name being called uh I think probably a tie between both my parents my mom and my dad yeah watching Carter grow up and uh the amount of time and energy he puts into everything uh it’s a probably started being a full-time job three or four years ago where he started going to the gym in the off season and skating hard and um he knew um he wanted to to make it one day you got a comedian too he’s rough and tough and um plays like uh the you know sort of the game sometimes was played 20 years ago um he uses his size uh and his strength and he and he’s doesn’t really uh get too scared of anything out there I think it’s really great that he got drafted to a Canadian team I think he’s happy about that and yeah it’ll be easy for us to go watch some games

I dont like the pick but seems like yakemchuk was their guy so ill trust them
It’s a good pick – the other two options: Parekh and Buium are both amazing hockey players. Parekh is offensive minded; Buium is defensive minded. This player seems best of both worlds.
I do like the pick. So much room for activities.
