If Campbell is healthy, and shows the lockdown promise he showed early on, that would be absolutely huge for the defense.
As we saw in 2017, part of having a good pass rush is having a secondary that can give the pass rush time to get home and the secondary struggled to do that last season.
Seems like that’s been the trend. Hopefully our new DC can actually develop some talent. Not to say Caldwell was completely inept, but it feels like forever since we had guys just unexpectedly step up and be good.
