he’s hting 267 on a year with a 915 Ops he has again he had a solo home uh two- run home run and that’s all that was Soto hit a ball the Deep left center field the end the game and but that’s that’s all that was today Carlos rhon let’s start there real quick Francis he yeah um starts the the first inning and he gives up four runs one of those being a a three run home run off the bat of Isaac Paredes other than that Carlos rhon did good after that he looked a lot better after that but does after that really matter at that point because it’s it’s not what we needed and we kind of both said that when it happened is okay he could go ahead and shut everybody out from here but the damage is already done and I mean it’s he only went four Innings no you’re not you’re not wrong and and it it’s it’s like it’s like telling somebody like it’s like you go to your friend and you guys are hanging out and then out of nowhere you just you punch him in the mouth you break his jaw right and then but you but you drive him but you drive him to the hospital and you’re like that’s nice at least hey but you know I drove you to the hospital right but then you look it’s like yeah but I wouldn’t have had to go to the hospital if you didn’t break my jaw so I mean I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about the hospital trip when I wouldn’t have been in that position if you didn’t break my jaw in the first place so I mean anybody could see the start and go all right he gave us three shut out after that but what I’m not saying that no more you know I said it the other day with the eight and I was like all right cool three shut out Innings kind of found his stuff there you know you could look at it and go there was a couple of innings and a couple of ABS well he looked really good 99 mph strike at on a heater he started to put it together but again the three run home runers I think that bites that that bites him on the ass I mean he had a great opportunity here to really have a Redemption type game and put it together and look he failed again let’s be honest I’m the biggest supporter of cars rodon out there I can’t support this much longer I can’t sit there and go next time next time next time you got to put it together at some point man he loses the game he’s now nine and7 with a 4.63 erra this is a guy who a couple of ading go at a 293 ra yeah I mean this is uh speaking of RA it’s um it’s important to bring up it seems like a a a first inning problem when when you look at the fact that he has a 950 erra in the first inning first inning yep that’s not going to get it done it’s just not going to get it done you have to I mean you’re a starter it’s literally in the name of your position you you start the game and yep I think it’s it’s more than just you know what it looks like on paper I think it also means that you set the tone in many ways you set the tone um it’s important to to get off to a good start to you know make sure that the momentum is going in your guys’s Direction and for for a while now Carlos and Carlos rhon starts the momentum almost immediately goes into the other team’s Direction so correct you’re not going to win very many games when when when you’re coming out performing that way even if you do find it you know two three Innings later and he did you know to his credit he had a stretch where he struck out four straight batters um and he did start to look you know like the guy who started out the season for us but little too little too late Y when you when you factor in that that big three run home run was a deciding factor if that if that home run never happens you know this game finishes 3-2 maybe yeah it’s a very very different game it’s a it’s a very very different game if that doesn’t happen and then you look at a lot of the guys on the team that are struggling right sto’s been struggling here as of late he’s 0 for four today um uh Verdugo goes one for three Gabor has had a hit in his g game he comes back Austin Wells goes Al for four Anthony vulpi for three DJ lameu does have two hits in the game hitting now 206 on the year um Ops is up to an amazing 529 oh wow which is unfreaking believable wow DJ steel says fire Boon accountability does not exist with him so looking at everything else there was another moment in this game where you look you question what Aaron Boone was thinking Michael tonin looked really good again he goes one and two3 innings he gives up a run but in reality the Yankees decide Aaron Boon decides that after one base hit mind you it’s the only hit Michael tonin gave up one hit that’s all he gave up one one hit he giv him a base hit the Jose Siri it was and let’s let’s also like give people the delay of the it was a single hit up the middle it wasn’t a gap or double yeah it was it wasn’t a gap or double wasn’t a ground rule double or some [ __ ] it wasn’t a triple it was you know single hit straight back up the middle it was a good piece of hitting by Jose Siri corre granted but even before that two- strike count he was being aggressive Siri beat him I don’t know why you you know rush to pull him there as if you had somebody like you know this world beater coming out you you rush the DeLuca boy coming up no no but on top of that who you who you were bringing in like you were rushing to get rid of tonen to bring in kanley like yep I mean come on and that’s the that’s the crazy thing right now Tommy Canley comes in he gives up a hit uh little little little uh line drive down the right field line uh they got um they got uh basically the Outfield shifted to pull and DeLuca hits the ball the right field so it’s a long run for soda to get to it and by the time he gets to it it’s Jose Siri running so you knew already that that was going to be another run scored and he’s fast as [ __ ] Siri runs really well he’s in great shape and that’s exactly what happens there he scores and the Yankees are now you know where they are and it’s just another fraking loss uh somebody just came who was it the Boy Wonder came in here said can’t stop the [ __ ] losing and it’s it’s been really really really bad for this team right now and you know I don’t know many other the answers you know we can sit here all day and go well they’re gonna get some guys back and that’s what I’ve believed um for a while I believed that for a minute I I’ve believed that you could couldn’t get it done ALDS against the Rays they couldn’t get it done in 2019 against Houston they went down in six they couldn’t get it done in in 2017 you know and that that I mean they were one game away with way less talent in 2017 yes they couldn’t get it done but one game away with way less talent and they haven’t even got back to that point under yeah that’s right I mean everything you need at it that way you know we get a lead there and um you know I thought we at least gave ourselves a chance and and put some guys out there obviously a big swing by Benny right there and we’re right in the game and then and then you know even in the night they good at bat by DJ and and Juan smokes the ball looks like we got a chance to get get airend to the plate there and so you know the bats were okay and you can’t look at it that way you know that’s that’s defeatism you know like screw that we got we got to get after it regardless of of course we want to run out to a big Le defeatism he’s ourselves um you know but it’s on us as as coaches to put our players in the best position POS possible to go out there and be successful and AD be we got to continue to to try and do that to the best opposite the way that they’ve played over the last three and a half four weeks has been the opposite of hopeful it’s been absolutely Dreadful it’s made people stop believing in a team that they did unequivocally believe in all right coming into the season a lot of people had high hopes for this team and I still maintain you know my hopes for the team but very little of that is on Aaron Boon correct all of that is on the talent that I believe we have in the room and the fact that I just think that they’re way too good to continue to play like this but I don’t think it’s going to be because of him yeah no I’m right there leadership I mean there’s yeah I I don’t I don’t like I said guys um please drop your voice M for all rise tomorrow morning I’m going to get to a lot of people tomorrow a lot of that show is going to be me listening and reacting uh to what you guys got to say but again another loss for the New York Yankees uh Metro I’m right there with you man he goes this
