Probably the best photo I’ve ever taken at Wrigley. Being that I grew up in Houston, and at the time lived in Kansas City, I had never been to a playoff game at Wrigley. My wife and I were in New York and once they won game two in St. Louis my wife randomly said “whew thank god that would have been a waste of money!” Turns out she had entered the ticket lottery for the two home games and was able to buy seats and rerouted our flight to Chicago. So many emotions flowing that night!
Beating those birds in that series was o so sweet.
I went to game 2 with a few people. One was a Cubs fan, and the rest were Cardinals fans. It was great to watch them win in STL. 2015 & 2016 was such a magical time.
