Powell might not have been the fastest or the strongest, but he did everything, ran between the tackles, ran outside, caught passes, and pass blocked. As a Jets fan you always knew, if Powell was touching the ball, it was ALWAYS going to be a positive play, and we will always love him for that.

The fell down having tripped over himself, but not touched, touchdown was a classic.
Bilal Powell was the RB that showed me how RBs can improve in the league. The CW is they come in as finished products and go down hill, but Powell got better nearly every year he was in the league.

I got to meet him at week 1 this past season he was signing/meeting people.
Super nice guy loved him!
I was at the game against the Vikings where he sustained what would essentially be his career ending neck injury. He played the next season, but wasn’t the same player. It was sad, for sure. Nice player.
And in this house, Bilal Powell is a hero, END OF STORY!
Powell was easily my favorite Jet during his tenure. Dude was severely underrated.
