1. Heaney actually outpitched brown. Brown wasn’t very good. He had bad control and average stuff but the rangers had another horrible night at the plate.

11. Glad to see Eric with some passion finally, because I’m about to just LOSE IT w this f’ing team! Sorry guys, but I’m nearly out on this Astros team. They’re just not very good and they’re only near first place because of overachieving. I just don’t see talent when I watch this team anymore. They’re nowhere close to the level of hitters the Rangers and Mariners roll out. They’re just not!

17. The offense is horrible right now. Just a waste of dominant starting pitching. I understand Esparza may want to “save” the bullpen, but they have to make it to the postseason first. Not to mention Andrew Heaney was pitching!

18. As a fan since the Colt45’s-Astros came into existence ,I have lived and died with them every year, every year.This year the talk of it’s early we have time well there is no more time. The Astros need to be torn a new one! Quite frankly, I’m not a loss for words. It’s the proverbial when the pitching is great the bats go silent and when the hitting is great, the pitching jump in the bus and Heads South. I believe now it’s time to just face the music this 2024 Astro team is going nowhere. A big part of it is injury to multiple pictures, but that seems to be the case on all the teams and this pitching Clock imo is a large part of the Culprit ! This will be the largest reboot that the Astros have seen in over a decade. Wholesale changes must come and no more getting into the middle of the season and taking desperate measures to try to get on top again..We still have the nucleus of a championship team, but that depends largely on will Kyle Tucker return to form,Can they keep Bergman? The other factors are in the lap of the MLB,if they don’t get rid of the pitching Clock there is going to be continual problems with Teams pitching arms!

19. Estrada is unable to motivate this team to achieve its potential. Yes, we are missing a lot of players to injuries, but we also have great players not stepping up and very good players not being consistent. It’s also Estrada making mistakes. It’s Dana Brown having to work by committee (Crane, Bagwell and Reggie). You gotta have guys who are “winners” leading and making decisions, Estrada and Bagwell are not those guys.

27. Ryan is a has been. There is no movement on his pitches. What about that throw from McCormick. I dont know what is going on with Pena and Meyers at the plate. In addition, I love Altuve, but he is not producting as of late.

29. When does Jake Meyers NOT strike out? Yes. A better than average fielder but a .225 outfielder ain’t gonna cut it.

    Last year for Peña was the sophomore jinx season so what excuse for his third season. He is just SO disappointing.

    I guess now that he is in the hall of fame Altuve can just phone it in,

30. Astros need to play with a sense of urgency if they they want to win the west division This is the only way to make into the play offs this year.
