There’s nothing in the article about the Cavs. It just says “Donovan Mitchell will try to get the Cavaliers back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2018”
These were the West predictions:
1. Oklahoma City Thunder: 83 points
2. Minnesota Timberwolves: 48 points
3. Dallas Mavericks: 29 points
4. Denver Nuggets: 18 points
5. Phoenix Suns: 8 points
6. Los Angeles Lakers: 2 points

Can’t say I disagree with these rankings as far as odds go. Seeing as how the roster hasn’t really changed, exceeding last season’s success is going to hinge on health of the players, coaching + Garland returning to form.
I mean, I don’t really disagree with this. The Celtics are the best team in basketball, the 76ers and Kicks have fairly intriguing roster builds that look good enough for an EC finals run, and the Bucks have an elite basketball player that is physically gifted enough to carry a team as long as he gets a little help. Then there’s the Cavs, who are slightly more notable than the rest of the East but need their stars beyond Mitchell to take that second step beyond fringe all star if they want to compete.
I’m sorry I just DO NOT believe in the 76ers this year at all.
The Cavs are not on the level of those other teams. They are in a tier with Indiana and Orlando.
Wolves are not making the finals I can guarantee it
As long as the Joker is out there in Europe pounding coldies nobody in the league stands a chance
