1. Jason Hayward to the Astros! This one might come back and haunt the Dodgers…

2. I would understand if He got DFA’d with Mookie or Muncy comes back. But it’s annoying because Taylor replaced him. He has not showed anything he will be valuable to the team.

3. Really this comes down to is who’s the better player, Heyward or Taylor. Taylor has been terrible since he signed that big contract. Heyward is a valuable lefty hitter off the bench. Taylor is virtually worthless. His defensive versatility is duplicated by K. Hernandez and Edman. Taylor could have been kept on rehab until Sept. 1. Friedman did this because he was dumb enough to sign Taylor to a big contract and not man enough to admit it was a mistake.

4. Ct sucks eggs as a player. The dodgers overpaid for him.

5. What is done is already done. Need to move on to focus on the job, which is to make sure to get to a great off season to march firmly to the WS for a 🏆 win!!
   Just hope this won’t affect some emotional wall towards CT, what ever your preference, the team must be United and not harbor any resentment towards any member!!

9. I understand them being upset for their teammate/friend, but I hope it doesn't cause problems in the clubhouse. It seems everyone wants to make this about a choice between Heyward and Taylor. There was much more to it. Taylor was just the one who happened to be coming off the IL. In the end, Heyward will be fine and Freddie will still have his friend, they just won't see each other everyday. I'm surprised the Dodgers didn't find a coaching position for Heyward, so he could stay with the team. At least they cut him early enough, so he can find another team that could use him and extend his career a little longer.

10. If you put the roster in front of Freddie and Rojas and tell them, “Cut somebody,” I’d be curious who they would choose?

    I bet they would send Pages down since he’s so young and has plenty of career left.

32. People, this is called “politics”. If you thought only greedy evil politicians are capable of lying and playing dirty, think again. Civilians do this all the time too. In this case, teammate over team is to party over nation. See? They don’t care about the team as much as you and I care about. That’s why I never get attached to the players.

33. Hayward was a much better player all the way around, CT3 was one eacy out every time he came to the plate, Roberts said the CT was a good player in the post season, first you got to get to the Post season

48. When you have a player who is instrumental in keeping team chemistry that is invaluable. That is the difference between a team meeting expectation and exceeding expectation. The synergy and camaraderie amongst players is priceless in his case more than what he can bring to the baseball field.
