Five years ago today the Houston Texans traded for left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

On August 31, 2019, Tunsil, Kenny Stills, and a fourth-round pick were traded to the Houston Texans in exchange for two first-round picks, a second-round pick, Johnson Bademosi, and Julien Davenport. He started 14 games at left tackle in 2019, earning his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Not the trade of the century but glad he’s here today
It’s rare you see a guy so damn good it’s easy to forgive the constant holding penalties. Insane how fast he comes off the ball.
Awful deal, but I can’t imagine this Texans roster without him.
I’m glad he’s stuck around through our rebuild.
He was the player who had faith in Caserio and stayed for the rebuild, now he gets to reap the benefits while getting paid big money
Trade was a bit much at the time but 100% worth in hindsight. Dude stonewalled Myles Garrett in the playoffs
