He obviously wasn’t the reason we lost, but holy shit that home plate umpire last night was fucking garbage. Can’t wait for the automated balls/strikes system to make it to the major league level.

Lost in our suckiness, I just noticed that Kansas City Royals have lost 6 in a row and fallen back to WC3. We’re still “only” 4.5 games back, in spite of everything. Red Sox still have a tiny window if they can somehow stop spiraling.
