2. This Laine story sounds like fake news. Doubt any team gives up anything significant for a player who is a big question mark on the ice and off.

7. Wow I haven't heard the name Eklund in quite a while. I don't think he is mysterious anymore. I'm pretty sure he has been unmasked. Well, if he is your only source, then this is not a serious video. The only way I'm taking Laine is if he comes at a bargain basement price and Lumbus also keeps a significant portion of his salary. The guy is not good between the ears and is a coache's nightmare because if he has to backcheck, he will probably pout and not be nearly as productive. Like I said, though, if Eklund is your source, then you may as well just take a dart board and throw darts to pick your next rumor.

9. The only reason this rumor is even being brought up at this time is due to Blake having acquired PLD like he did when pretty much no other team was really even interested in him so why not spread the rumor that the Kings may do so again with another head case player in Laine as well now. 🤦‍♂️

19. QUESTION: Do you think fagemo has more upside than kaliyev? Given that Fagemo lit up the AHL last season why do many analyst believe his skillset wont necessarily translate to the NHL?

22. King's should 100% go after Laine. They have no legitimate right shots that are a consistent threat to score, that they'll give ice time to (Fagemo). Take a shot. King's have two seasons & if it works extend him. If it doesn't, the King's are going out in the first round anyways. If they make the playoffs that is. The team is bad & only option after all the missteps is to swing at long shots.

26. more of a risk than PLD, but also much more upside. As much as I would love another elite level winger, not sure Laine is the guy. His right handed shot is super attractive and hes had PP success, but do we really want to risk our remaining assets on a guy that cant stay healthy, or a guy that was in the player assistance program for presumably mental health issues? That probably makes me sound like a bad person, but this is a business, and this will be a hefty investment if it goes through, and I do not want someone with his track record on my team at what their asking price is likely to be.

30. Love Trevor Moore but he is the most likely piece to be traded. Big question is does anyone think his goal total is repeatable? I have my doubts because he put up an excellent season. We need a right shot desperately and Laine can score a ton. If its not Moore, you prob see if Gavrikov is open to going back to Colombus (he has a NTC) because you need to free up money here. That creates some issues on the left side, but perhaps Spence slots in there. The Kings need scoring so badly and God forbid Kopitar regresses. Laine is not a terrible pickup.
