Jesus.
I think he sits out week 1 and sees how the D looks. If we get smacked and can’t get pressure on Purdy Woody may cave and tell Joe Douglas to get him in the building, if we look good without him he’s gotta show or risk not even getting the snaps to earn his next contract
Both sides are probably talking right now. The recent contract restructures probably opens up some money to renegotiate the 1 year deal for Hassan. We don’t have to be happy about all this but having Hassan for Monday will be huge.
Stupid on both sides. And for us as fans rooting for this team, with how competitive the league is, missing him could be critical in division and wild card race.
I’m going to rule him out for Monday night, you’re welcome Saleh.
True im ready to rule him out for monday
lol
Lloyd Christmas once said “So you’re telling me there’s a chance. YEAH!”
J-E-T-S!
Can’t wait for the soft tissue injury week 2 because this asshole skipped camp!
If he even suits up he should be extremely limited he has no chemistry among other potential problems like does he even know the playbook
“Reddick not on the plane to SF, but not ready to rule him out just yet”
Sounds like they are talking.
If he sits 4 games and then comes back and plays 13 and goes somewhere else next year, it was still probably worth a 3rd rounder.
Im ruling him out.
They are definitely having discussions…let’s get it done.
I’m trying to give Saleh the benefit of the doubt here, but in what world does Reddick ever play, much less start, on Monday night?
By all accounts, Reddick has been “away from the team” all summer. Even if the situation is due to his agent, Reddick still employs the agent, so he deserves some of the blame.
Imagine Reddick signs today. If Saleh then chose to start Reddick on Monday, he’d be disrespecting the entire locker room and coaching staff.
The players who worked hard all summer would **immediately** lose snaps and potentially a roster spot to a guy who hasn’t been with the team, ever. That would definitely go over well. And the coaching staff would be blindly integrating a player who (presumably) hasn’t worked with coaches or training staff before. They would have three days to get Reddick up to game speed to play against the defending NFC champions.
Seriously, make me understand. Saleh would be a complete dumbass to play Reddick on Monday. There’s no way.
Even if he signed at this very second, he probably doesnt have a big role on Monday. With a new team and skipped all of training camp. Plus, you need to prepare with who you have in the building and not wait for a guy to decide.
As I said in a different thread, this is a fake holdout and both parties know what the deal is and are selling the media a holdout because they technically can’t just come out and say “we’re letting this guy skip preseason”
