Here’s Why The Texas Rangers Flopped And Diamondbacks Soared After World Series

In a new edition of On the Record, Jeff Wilson from DLLS Sports stops by to preview this week’s Diamondbacks-Rangers series. From Adolis Garcia’s down year to Corey Seager’s early-season injuries, Wilson helps explain why the Rangers have struggled on the heels of a World Series victory. He also gives an update on when Jacob DeGrom and Max Scherzer are expected back from injury, and adds insight to the Diamondbacks’ puzzling Jordan Montgomery situation.

  1. Who could have foreseen that after having an extremely mysterious year where even nobodies including a guy named “Leody Taveras,” had a 101 OPS+ they would have all of the sudden returned to reality and finished competing for third place…

Surely nobody could have foreseen a bottom feeder team having a millennial miracle season (still only 90 games), just barely by the scratch of BABIP and xBA beating the worst team in the Astros golden era (still brought them to 7 games despite BABIP and xBA) finishing no where near the top of the division…

Nobody with a basic understanding of history and statistics could have predicted that miracles don’t happen twice… nobody.,. Yeah

  2. THEY PAID FOR NAMES .. they flopped because they have trash pitching and too many INDIVIDUALS… buying a championship only last for a minutes. Earning one will create a dynasty.

They should have signed Trevor Bauer
