Btw, I’d much rather do one roster player for potential and one future player, doing “all time most potential” feels weird, and current would essentially just boil down to Seider vs Raymond. Again, if you guys REALLY want to put an all timer I’ll do it though, any suggestions for the grid (topic changes, graphic changes etc.) I read pretty much all comments

I’m want to say federov, but I’m saying Larionov and Raymond.
ASP and Raymond
All time most potential – Fedorov
Current – Raymond
Future – Danielson
Raymond – potential to be a superstar
MBN – prospect
This was already ruined with Abby being “most overrated” when 90% of the fanbase does nothing but shit on him lol
ETA: But I’ll say Konstantinov and Ed-boy
Seider and Edvinsson
Roster player: Raymond
Prospect: ASP
Raymond and Cossa
While I agree with Jiri and Vlad, can I throw in Johann Franzen? His 2008 playoff performance was majestic (and totally made me get his t-shirt jersey that I still wear).
Seider and Trey Augustine. He looked really good playing for USA and MSU is projected to take another stab at a natty this season.
Most potential : Fischer, he got hurt and I think he would have been our #1/2 defenseman
Current roster: Raymond
After trying to argue for Seider as the current most overrated player the other day, I also will put him forth as the roster player with the most potential. After his rookie year, he seemed destined for superstardom and I still think he’s got that potential. I think Raymond is going to end up a really good winger, but if Seider progresses to his ceiling, I truly believe that ceiling is “perennial top 5 in the league with the potential for a Norris win.”
As for prospect, I’m torn between ASP and Augustine. It’s so early with both so the chances are inherently low, but Augustine could be the next coming of Saros, and ASP could be the league’s next 80+ point defenseman. I’m going to say Augustine for now; he’s done nothing but impress, and more than Cossa even, he really makes me hype for the Wings’ future in net.
All time – Joe Murphy. Last first overall the wings drafted. Never worked. Dude had mad talent but partied.
Current – Mo Seider. When he’s given more freedom to play his way like he did his rookie year, Seider is gonna be a force.
Raymond and Cossa
Has to go Raymond and asp right?
Asp has legit 1st pp potential and possibly top pair
Genuinely can’t pick between Raymond and seider because i think Seider will win atleast one norris, but also think Raymond will score 30-40 this year…
ASP, Fischer
