Everything you’ve ever heard on YouTube was either fan made or based off of a very low quality recording released on a CD in the early 2000’s

The first ever OFFICIAL high quality recording of the rangers goal horn/song ever released to the public

  1. You were able to download a clean copy of the goal song directly from the Rangers website as far back as the late 90’s up until the team got forced (against their wishes) to integrate into the NHL.com family of webpages (which I think was around the time the 06 lockout ended. When that happened it disappeared. This, however, is different because it doesn’t have the “Let’s go Rangers” added

  2. Is anyone able to download this as an MP3 track?

This UK fan would love to use it as his morning alarm!

  3. I remember that CD it was a part of the season ticket package for the 05-06 season if I remember correctly. Loved the ticket design for that season as well. Still have my ticket from the Malik shootout goal.

  4. The version I’ve got on ITunes has a slightly different horn and “LET’S GO RANGERS!!” after each “WHOAOOOOH”.

  5. Ah, I loved that New York Rangers Greatest Hits CD… My roommate at the time had one of those CD players/radios that also had an alarm clock. You could set it to buzz like a normal alarm, a radio station, or any track on a CD. He’s a big Isles fan, so of course I set his alarm to the goal song, volume full blast, as many times as I could lol.

  6. I only wish Ray would still use the actual horn. It’s all that’s missing from it being perfect.

  7. Always thought it was “Goooooallll” not “Whoooooa”. Live at garden sounds like “Gooooooallll”

  8. It sounds so much better with 18,005 other crazed singing people at the barn. Cannot wait for the season to start.

  9. Do the people that wrote and recorded this get a commission every time it’s played at msg?
