PERFECT DAY FOR THE STANDINGS
Today was the playoff formula win absolute perfection. Obviously I want the offense to get hot again, but it’s still very impressive to win these tough games while in a funk.
I’m worried about Williams. I mean, does he even care anymore? He didn’t even load the bases before he got everyone out. Selfish player.
Give Freddy some props, he held them to 1 run without really good stuff against a team that had scored over 30 runs the last 3 games.
That Megill/Williams double punch is going to a thing of beauty come the playoffs.

Been travelling abroad the last week and wearing my Brewers cap. In Berlin the last coupla days and have had three “Go Brewers!” said to me. Pretty cool.

Augie makes the point postgame and it holds up, the key to our win was Freddy getting out of the first giving up just one.
Love that I sort of called out Rhys yesterday and he wins the game for us. Let’s keep doing that
