He was one of one. LeBron is a modern version of him.
Winning a FMVP as a 20 year old is insane.
For perspective Jordan was 28 when he won FMVP, LeBron was 27, Kobe was 30, Steph was 34.
Magic was the same age as Wemby when he won FMVP.
Magic was incredible. I wonder what he could have done if he never contracted HIV.
Writers voted for Kareem, but they changed it to Magic as Kareem was at home injured.

He earned it. Cap couldn’t make the flight to Philadelphia for game six due to migraine headaches (which are no joke) so Magic took his seat on the jet, took his place at center, won the opening tip and went for something like 42-16-10.
And he was grinning like a kid the whole time
