Charlie Blackmon’s final words as he manages to avoid getting choked up: “It really means a lot that I’m joined by so many current and former teammates here, staff members, members of the media, family members… Thank you for making this week special. I’ll never forget it.”

  1. I made a point to attend 0 games this year. If I had known he was calling it quits I would’ve gone to 1.

  2. I moved to Grand Junction four years ago for a job and haven’t made it back to Coors since.

I loved watching him play but “Your Love” was my favorite little Coors tradition and I’m pretty bummed I won’t be able to hear it live again

  3. A’s fan here who lucked into going to you’re awesome stadium a few year back. I ALWAYS loved the way this dude played the game. From his hustle to his walk up song (can’t go wrong with Outfield!) the man was an icon. Congrats you purple people eaters on having such a bas ass dude on your club for such a long time.
