  1. Agree 💯. Would like to see completely new faces in the dugout and upstairs. If not Chiam, Kim Ng, if not one of Francona, Madden or Whoever Bernie wants, Yadi. Also weary of the Goldenado show. Need kids to rise. Also enough already with Burly. Guys OPS for September is in the low .400s. The genius that keeps trotting him out batting second is a major part of the problem. I’ll stop repeating myself, but here goes. Again. 3B Gorman, SS Masyn, 2B Wetherholt (kid is the same age as the Cubs Crow-Armstrong). 1B Wilson (when not catching) Throw in a platoon with Baker when not a bench bat. My brother wasn’t want Donnie in LF, but thinking he/Noot could hold it down, with Donnie as a stop gap if Gorman craters. CF Victor, RF Jordan., C Herrera and Crooks MVP in AA. Starters Sonny, Matthews, Pallante, Fedde, with hopefully a #signed like Snell or one of Mcgreevy/Mikolas ( stuck like Chuck with that contract)/Matz (same) etc. Biggest decisions (other than ridding the team of the cancers off the field), will be can we get a #1 and what to do with Helsley. Go Cardinals. That’s my hot stove league take to get the ball rolling. Take care, everybody.

  2. You can't change ANYTHING for the positive if the same old people are left in play. I love when people point out "Well, Lolly went to the playoffs his first year"…….Where he was graced with what Shilt left him and two future Hall of Famer's in Albert and Yadi. And he still was swept out of the Playoffs! Throw in Waino too if you want? When they left, so did "Winning." How else do you explain two year's of mediocrity and failure? If they bring him back it tells me they are not being serious about moving forward. As far as Moe goes…..He's not going to step down. Too arrogant to admit he's been wrong for awhile now. Mr DeWitt will have to remove him and I just don't see that? Hope I'm wrong? And Charlie, you forgot one thing with your impression of The Trumper "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" 🤣👍🇺🇸

  3. The problem with the cardinals is they burned their own bridge other teams in stl fire their coaches when they Dont perform the cardinals resign them then act like their doing a great job on tip of the bill Dewitt Jr's comments about revenue well guess what he learned the hard way didn't he I'm tired of the excuses you have money for stadium renovations but not the team oli has no emotion and mo is clearly lost not the person or the character of a person he once was

  4. It's absolutely stunning the DeWitt's are still willing to allow Mozeliak to somehow supervise Bloom's transition into control. Blind faith in your personnel while your business model is failing almost always ends up in shuttered doors.

Is it really that crucial Mo is allowed walk away instead of just retiring? Bill Jr., are you really willing to bring back Mo and Marmol at the expense of a million or more paid customers? Attendance will be shockingly low as it all blows up in your face….and it will. What you and Mo have done over the 13 seasons to get us to this point is well-documented. You can change that by cleaning house, stepping back, and allowing real baseball minds to save your sinking ship. Mo and Girsch have earned the right to be dismissed.

  5. when Jeff Luhnow left he took 6 top scouts with him then during covid year no minor leagues played they got rid of 20 some player development pieces THAT needs to be replaced before major league needs . we just need development that is the lifeblood next dip into international market i could be wrong but have we gone there since Oscar tavares? THATS where it needs to begin yes that means 2025 will not be fixed long term is FOCUS for this team i know this thought will not be popular but to draw free agents having a strong minor league pipeline i promise you free agents know it thats it God bless all

  6. I will admit that we Cardinals fans have been thoroughly spoiled by our success. This is not my sweeping the last two seasons under the rug, just my acknowledging that we have had it VERY good for a decade and a half (give or take a few years).

That being said, 15+ years, with varying levels, of success does not excuse the lack of urgency our FO has had with winning in 22, 23, and 24. We need to change up our FO, our management, and the roster.

I know that Mo is not going to be fired, and I've just come to accept that. He's done after 25, and Dollar-Bill DeWitt had better let that be the end. Mo has had some great success with us, but we need a fresh perspective. As for Oli, I go back and forth on wanting him fired. He has made some very poor decisions, and I do feel relies on metrics TOO much, but he has also made some savvy moves as well. I think, given how spectacularly we underperformed this year, giving Oli a chance to start the year is fine, though not my first choice. I want Yadi for manager, but I want number 4 to come back with a fresh slate. No baggage of nostalgia, no badly structured roster, and no bust prospects. While I'm no Oli fanboy, I have to admit that he was given a monumentally dysfunctional hand at the start of the year. Not saying 2025 looks to be any better, but he has not been given rosters that were built to win, and that is not his fault. How he handles them is another matter.

Let the young guys keep showcasing their talent, and maybe 2025 will have better results.

  7. Count me in for both of them must GO! Enough is enough. I have been following baseball since the 60s and I have never a manager juggle the lineup this much. Indicates Ollie does NOT have a game plan. If baseball players are creatures of habits, this would definitely have a negative effect on their game approach.

  8. Imo the way oli handled Tyler O'Neal, the whole team said yeah this guy is a clown 🤡 and I'm not giving him my all. Are respect they may lie in an interview, but he lost the room that day

  9. I respect and am in agreement with the majority that Mozeliak and Marmol must go, but, unfortunately, the DeWitts don't think along the same line as the fans.
I hope I am wrong, but I am not so sure that there will be any changes in the front office and on-field management.

  10. Easy to say, “He needs to go,” – – tougher to say who would be a better replacement. For manager, I would say to bring Skip Schumaker in to manage – – GM? I’m no enough in the know to say who the ‘hot’ assistant GM out there is – – a guy who has earned his stripes and ready to run his own show. I would look to recently successful organizations – San Diego? Houston? Baltimore? Someone is waiting to get their shot.

  11. Congrats to Mike Schildt. His "philosophical differences" has took the Padres to the playoffs while our Cards are going to the play…oops! Marmol would be fit with a team you don't have to develop and evaluate talent. Yeah it took LaRussa 10 years to win a WS(2 btw)…but he had previous hardware and winning exp! Mo needs to go before he screws up the young guys for good. Mo promoted Oli because he was a quick fill in for Schildt and he fell in line with his bowtie bs along with listening to fading stars about hiring coaches. This team needs a new attitude, not a bunch of bowtie boy scouts!! This isn't church man! They almost screwed up Contreras. Congrats to Carp, Lynn, Gibson, and Goldy for checking off the Cards on their bucket list for teams they'd love to play for before they retire.

  12. Many fans won't back the Cardinals with John ( MO ) and Oliver still being here. Dewitt wants less money if he keeps them, and he probably will. We are stuck with Dewitt because he won't sell.

  13. Listen to a lot of other team podcast and so many teams fans want new managers and some want new FO hell the cubs broadcast want their gm gone along with some aren't happy with their manager

  14. Why haven't they played Luken Baker? What are they scared of?
At this point I wonder why they brought him up from triple-a in the first place. Why didn't they just leave him down there in triple A and let him continue to hit home runs.

  15. Schlitt turned the Padres into a contender in 1 freaking yr SMH Mo has killed this organization with his boneheaded moves 😳 plain and simple both need to go and sadly we will have to deal with both again next yr and fans need to let the owners to know we aint with it

  16. The thing about your poll is, unlike me, you attract a fairly balanced group of BFIB fans & then older fans like me who wanted Moz fired after he gave Matheny a 2nd extension the year after being the worst defensive team in the NL (in errors).

And the BFIB were like “he’s got the best winning % in baseball since he took over” and a higher win % than TLR.

I seem to remember a certain radio station co-host, ex-PD guy, lecturing us on how these “innings eaters” pretty much had to just show up and with this offense the Cards would roll. In fact, he doubled down on it and was adamant.

Oli isn’t getting the most out of our club. Gone!
