They WILL start slow and finish slow. They’ll play slow in the middle. The Jags suck bad. They are on the fast track to picking first overall again for the 3rd time in five years. Their last two first overall picks are average at best!
I’m surprised that they aren’t bringing press taylor into this conversation. Trevor’s only doing what the playcaller is giving him and Taylor has been fucking trash. Trevor is a product of his coaching & if coaching isn’t up to snuff, you get the performance that T-Law is providing us. Fire Press & cut Trevor loose & let him sling it and improvise like he did in college.
The O-line and D-line are monumental issues right now. Coaching has not been good enough overall.
I know y’all work for the team and can’t say exactly what needs to be said. We all know Trent Baalke needs to be fired. He’s failed to fix the o line. They knew it was bad and did nothing other than get a old vet at center. He traded Trevon Gipson when we needed pass rush depth for yet another 6th round pick. Dude has a infatuation with late rd picks.. took Travon walker over Hutchinson.. Travon is not a bad player but he is clearly not as good as Hutch. I like Doug but he needs to get real and let go of his little buddy Press and also Phil Roucher. If not he needs to go to. End of the day Shad needs do the right thing.
Our D (secondary) literally got blitz 1st game all season holding teams under 20pts is unbelievable in the NFL potential is there 😳
