5. Nah! I didn't have much hope though I still think the rotation is good enough to go all the way. I predicted 77 wins and I may have been a little optimistic.

6. This season was the worst I can remember in the last 5 years. A GM’s job is to make a team better over time, not worse. He MUST be fired.

9. Does it really matter though, if they make changes? They won’t make this team a contender by any means. They won’t get Skenes any support while he is here, briefly albeit. This is how the Pirates will operate until something drastic happens (Nutting selling the team).

11. You mentioned that Nutting is terrible at hiring people in general. I realized this as far as baseball goes but I didn't know that it was a consistent trait of Nutting's. I, honestly, think it's cheapness. I am not one of the people who thinks he won't spend any money. He's spent more freely than McClatchy without question. However when it comes to his administrative staff, I think that is where the cheapness comes in. Although not universally true, to a certain extent you do get what you pay for. Enough with hiring the cast-offs or the book nerds with theories on how they're going to reinvent baseball. Hire the top guys from other winning organizations…even if it means paying more for them. DO IT, BOB!!

15. I’ve completely lost interest in the Pirates, and only watch you tube videos such as this. Investing my time in them is an exercise in futility. I hope they clean house.

17. How does that clubhouse feel after the Telez fiasco. It's time for someone on this team or broadcast team to speak out against the way this organization is run. The only good move this team made in last years offseason was to hire Hannah Mears. She looked absolutely stunning last night!

20. Nutting, I get not micro managing but my GOD take a look at the standings and news every once an while and see what is going on. You have a bunch of buffoons running your team. Have some pride. Get people in there that knows what they are doing. DK, we all know that Nutting doesn't care but please for the life of me why does Cherrington and Shelton think that what they are doing offensively is working b/c ITS NOT! If i was Nutting I would have a sit down and ask those two jabronis this question why is this offense so inept and why is this happening in the minors where are stature is near the bottom in all of baseball. Then i would fire them both on the spot.

21. The Hacker Clapper was one of my favorite things you've ever written Dejan. I loved going to prize day. I doubt they call it that anymore.

22. Yeah DK, I saw that RIDICULOUS take by Passan on MLBTV yesterday! But at least we got some national attention in the middle of pennant chase baseball! 😊 It's time, I didn't realize this management group has been there so long, CLEAN HOUSE! Great show sir 😎

26. Absolutely right DK, as a GM Cherington has 8 last place finishes, 1 fourth place finish, and somehow a world series win in 10 seasons. I've been repeating his record since he was hired, he is a LOSER!!!

27. Dk you say Nutting is terrible at hiring, is this just regarding the Pirates? How did he manage to make his money to buy the Pirates if he is such a bad hirer?

30. Hey DK. You know, I do not know how Bob Nutting isn't completely embarrassed by his lack of skill. He has to know the other owners are laughing at him. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would imagine the other owners probably do not respect him. They probably look at him as a rich kid with a toy that makes money, but he just doesn't have the talent to run a professional team. When he's not there, they probably make fun of him. lol. Sad, but I guess there are just some people who cannot admit the truth. Personally, I'm kind of embarrassed for him. If it was me, I think I'd get out keep what's left of my dignity. Got be hard knowing you actually are incapable of producing a winner. =D
