  5. I think this Guardians series is an opportunity to rest pitchers as well as Yordan, Altuve, and Breggy as much as they may like. My pitching rotation for this last regular season series:
    9/27 Fri Blanco
    9/28 Sat Arrigetthi
    9/29 Sun Verlander

    I really like Singleton at first base on a regular basis. Alverez should not have been sliding into bases the last month of the regular season.

  6. Astros will not play the Yankees in round 2. Brackets are predetermined so that #1 seed not play a division winner in a division series. If Astros win their wild card series then they will play Cleveland, period.

  9. Yeah, I think now it has become clear thatCaranetti should be our first baseman and it is a shame that we cannot find a centerfielder or a leftfielder that cannot hit 240. It’s just ridiculous. I love Jake’s defense, but he’s too much of a liability when it comes to hitting at this point, I would much rather see playing center or left because little tender yard on Alvarez can’t slide into second base without hurting himself so we must keep him protected when NFL put in the grasp quarterback sack rule and I’ll never forget Jack Lambert of the Pittsburgh Steelers said and I believe I quote” I think they should put skirts on them”! outside of that the biggest problem obviously and everybody’s eyes is the ball pen. This is going to be the Achilles heel of the 2024 Astros as much as my heart wants to see them win. This is just not the team that can do it and if they do do it, they deserve severe accolades because of the lacking of this bullpen! I think Presley may have developed some watch of a chip on his shoulder because of the fact that he was bumped as being the closer when I am sure in his mind and maybe quite a few others that he still has the tools to be the closer!? If this situation of a chip on his shoulder is true it can have a great effect on how someone performs and the way I see it Abreu, Presley, and Hader R all suspect upcoming through in pressure pack playoff series and maybe even the World Series!? so I would put this question to you when it gets down to where the rubber meets the road can we count on our bullpen especially the three guys at the back of the lineup that determine whether we win or lose would you bet they could do the job and did and if you did bet how much would you wager?

  10. I'm sorry, but the Guardians do not have a better team than the Astros. The Astros started the season 12-24, had they just started .500 at 18-18, the Astros would have the number two seed.
    Obviously, Dubon will be the playoff starting CF with Caratini at first. The Astros only need one catcher in the playoffs.
