  1. Brenden will hold a LIVE STREAM here on YouTube later Monday night to take YOUR questions and comments and react to Monday's Cardinals news.

Exact timing TBD but expect me to go live around 10pm Central Time. Will update on YouTube and Twitter before going live.

Join me for the first day of a looooong and interesting Cardinals off-season to come.

  2. John Mozeliak did a lot of good for this franchise…But keeping him another season does what exactly?

Chaim Bloom gets announced as the 2026 successor. It’s announced that the payroll is being cut and serious talks about trades will be the headline of the offseason… So why is John Mozeliak allowed to be anywhere near decisions that will affect Chaim Bloom’s tenure?? It ONLY makes sense to step aside if you’re John Mozeliak. Cards aren’t playing for anything next year. I do not get this…..

  3. Could you all be more of a downer… spoiled baseball fans… isn't it possible they out performed for so long you all got use to it and then the rest of professional baseball caught up to them and now they need to just take a year or two to reevaluate things and take new measures to succeed in the future. And give mo his flowers they did really well for a really long time. How many losing seasons have they had in mo tenure. Cut the guy some slack.geez.

  4. Sort of an extreme idea but do you think there’s a world where it’s a complete fire sale this off-season and they tear the major league team to the studs to significantly cut payroll (around $60m) while also bringing in a younger superstar like a Juan Soto or Roki Sasaki on a big contract to be the “face of the rebuild?”

  5. Thanks for putting this up Brenden! I was really wanting to see the questions that were gonna be asked after the presser and was disappointed when the feed was cut.

  6. Hot take, I didn't hate these answers as much as I expected. Not sure if its disconnect from the org setting in or if I think Mo did decent lip service. Will have to wait and see what the actions say though, words and actions haven't always matched with the org especially as of late.

  7. I wish he had the ability to talk straight and not dance around. I have listened to too many interviews and never have gotten anything from them. What a MOZO. I don't expect anything to really change as long as he pulls the strings. He just can't give up control. He sounds like he is addressing a board of directors meeting and not fans.

  8. Why the persistent emphasis on technology and the "modern game"? Sure the game has changed, and technology can help. But, using more technology isn't going to be the key to putting a winning team on the field. Also, I'm surprised he didn't talk about "philosophical differences" , which was their reason for firing Mike Schildt – who ironically has another team in the playoffs!

  9. I was ok for the team not to make the playoffs for a couple of years but the trade to get Pham and Fredde was total non sense to give up Edelman. The fans never get the truth why shutz was let go.
