  1. I am glad. I still think he’s the right man for the job. Hope he makes a few adjustments to his managerial style in ‘25 (less pinch-hitting, for example)

  2. I like Rocco for the most part, sure I disagree with some of his decisions but at the end of the day there is a reason he is the coach and I’m not lol, I was impressed after I read the article quoting him saying if he is to take the compliments and nice things when goings are good that he will accept the criticism when things don’t, I’m optimistic he will make some changes in how he does things for next year but only time will tell

  3. He was dealt a shit hand the last year or so with essentially zero meaningful additions to the team since the ‘23 trade deadline. If the players are behind him, I am too.

  4. Twins need to have a Vikings like off season to make me believe that they’re in it to win it

  5. I know I shit on his hitting philosophy but he is a great club house manager and im glad he’s returning

  6. Doesn’t make much point to blame the bricklayer that doesn’t have any mortar. Glad to see he’s coming back.

  7. Good for Rocco. I WON’T be returning as a fan though. Fuck this organization and what they have done to the fan base.

  8. I don’t think Rocco is the best manager by any means but he definitely wasn’t the problem this season

  9. Must not be any cheaper options out there for Pohlad. Feel sorry for Rocco, it’s like having the keys to what could be a luxury car service but all you have working is a rusted out Geo.

  10. Excellent. Rocco is not the problem. He’s more of an asset than a liability. Open the purse strings to build a contender around a solid core.

  11. Hopefully the front office then gets us Jax carbon copies for the pen and makes sure there’s no Margot’s on the bench, because we know if either is the case and there are better alternatives on the bench or in the pen, Baldi will send out the unreliable arm to blow the game or help a lousy hitter achieve a dubious MLB record. That’s why I love all the people piling on the owners, while failing to ignore all the other screw-ups at all levels this year that turned what could’ve been a great season into a disaster. If our coaches and minor league staff taught bunting and base stealing more consistently, maybe we could be more consistent at dropping them to manufacture runs. Maybe if our manager actually punished players that refuse to hustle down the baselines, maybe we could have more runners on and more runs scoring. Maybe if we had a reliable 3B coach, we wouldn’t have had so many runners cut down at the plate. Maybe if our front office actually read medical reports, we wouldn’t have had to play patch with our 5th starting spot all season because the guy they traded for to fill that rotation spot turned out to be hurt much worse than the Mariners seemed to make us believe (same with Topa), and yes if the reports that some of our young players aren’t doing what it takes to keep at peak performance and improve, then why the hell is Baldi and Correa having to publicly call them out on it, shouldn’t Baldi be making these players spend more time in hitting and fielding practices and other drills throughout the season and having them booted back to the minors if they refuse? This organization is a mess from top to bottom, and focusing our wrath solely upon ownership lets those other screwups go unaccounted for and lets those that made those screwups happen no longer responsible, which means get ready for more stupid crap from the front office, Baldi and the coaching staff, and players next season because sounds like nothing’s changing.

  12. Oh, fuck you. With Skip Schumacher available? Dumb fucking decision, keeping the status quo of barely above .500 ball.
