Little did we know what Cardinals baseball would look like after this moment
I remember the good ole days :,)
I got a canvas print of the moment they walked off into shadow. Sucks how they’ve been since then but that was a magical season
I’m not crying you’re crying! 🥹 Weirdly feel like this was a strange turning point into adulthood for me, all my childhood heroes walking off the diamond for a final time together…
I truly did not know how good I had it until these three were gone. Boy do I miss them on this team something fierce.
I was so glad to be able to take my family to that game.
It’s been a long 2 years
It’s a shame, we don’t have that energy on the field anymore!
Seems like forever ago. God, I miss them!
And that’s the last game I’ve been to at Busch.
This is by far the best in person experience I’ve had at a baseball game, the energy in that stadium was amazing!
This moment was the first and so far only time my kids saw me cry.
Unpopular opinion : Waino should have retired several years earlier. Every game I watched in person he gave up at least four in the first inning.
I was there and it could not been a more picture perfect day. Weather was the same as today in STL- 70s and sunny, low humidity, packed house with excitement in the air to watch the team go into October. The most Busch has ever felt like baseball heaven to me.
This was the peak and probably only highlight of Oli’s tenure

[Here are some film photos I took of the day, including a photo of the three of them walking off the field together.](https://imgur.com/a/final-regular-season-game-portra-400-canon-ae-1-50mm-1-8-28mm-2-8-Os51Aiw)
