  1. Hurts is definitely a problem. He's lost a step and he's making bad decisions. The offense has struggled mightily during the slide of the last dozen games or so.

  2. Hurts cock up to release ball takes too long, he holds the ball too long, can’t see the field unless he’s locked in on a 1-1, doesn’t run anymore so much, can’t hold on to the ball, horrible pocket awareness, I’ll stop there.

  3. There's nothing to say. Alabama quarterback are game managers. I the nick Saban era none of his 7 championship QBs have done anything in the NFL. They had great playmakers and defenses. Facts are facts. They all work for ESPN now

  4. Jalen has left a lot to be desired this year so far. Is he flawed? Yes! Do I think he can improve? Yes! At year end, if Jalen is still playing at this level, then another conversation should be had

  5. I don’t know how you can say we have a Jalen hurts problem, he was literally out his best guys, half of his line and he still tried his best to win the game. The coaches need to get these players ready to go. You can’t just blame it all on Jalen. Where was the defense exactly letting Baker Mayfield get the ball out and 1.8 seconds that is fucking crazy, you got to press

  6. They're not rushing hurts the same way they do Pat. I can clearly see that in tbe videos. Jalen can be better but our playcalling is 🍑. We need more quick routes.

  7. Hurts was never that great. Eagles consistently give big contract to Qbs who are only good for a season or 2. This is Wentz all over again. It took a backup in Foles to win a superbowl.

  8. Hurts doesn't hit receivers off their breaks into the route unless he's schemed to do it. Other than that he holds on too the ball and hopes AJ or Smith will come open. If they are not open he either runs out of the pocket(sometimes a clean pocket) or just throws it up to a covered AJ or Smith and prays they come down with it

Which leads to the facts that

1)Hurts has poor vision(Tunnel vision on Brown and Smith)

    2) inability and no desire to read a defense and find the correct guy to throw to on any given play.

    3) Holding on to Ball too long because he can't read a defense, and missing guys like Dotson and Goedert when they get open off their initial break(because he's only looking at Brown and Smith)

Until Hurts learns to read a defense, and get the ball, He'll never win a Super Bowl.

  9. idk if you mention this cause I'm only 13 minutes into the video, but I really think Jalen favors his favorite targets to a fault (being AJ Brown, Smitty, and Goedert – possibly now Saquon). If he doesn't see those open when he checks, I think he panics a little or really, really tries to force it. I don't know why, and as an Eagles fan, watching these past games have been so frustrating. Yea, I think we had a play calling issue with Brian Johnson/Sirianni, but I think Hurts might ALSO be a problem – like a Wentz/Pederson situation.

  10. Been saying this for years Jalen hurts locks on one wr he makes up his mind and he not coming off the wr no matter what that's why he has so many turnovers he can't read the field he is a liability if you can't read defense you can't when in this league and I like Jalen as a person but he is just not it no excuse sometimes you just got to keep it real and stop being delusional and I'm a die hard eagles fan hurts a liability

  11. We have a backup nfl running back playing qb.
He can’t read the defense so he bail and rolls right. He is inaccurate and can’t see/ doesn’t understand the field so he throws out of bounds.

Here’s the deal- the coaching hasn’t been ideal, however, Peyton Manning didnt even have an offense coordinator for some years of his career. We cannot blame the coaches. This is a supposed NFL caliber player, not to mention MVP runner up. He should be making his guys better and his play, despite the coaching, should be elevating his team.

We all know what Andy Reid’s last few years here were like… it was painful and the calls were consistently bad, however, nobody really blames big red. They blame Kolb, they blame Detmer, they blamed Foles, McNabb, etc.

But now, so many fans refuse to blame hurts. My take, he stinks. Bottom 8 qb in the league, and getting worse weekly. He plays an awful brand of football, and it’s horrible to be forced to watch week in and week out for years.
