Dodgers lose NLDS Game 3, on the brink of elimination.

A disastrous second inning saw the Dodgers give up 6 runs to the Padres, and they couldn’t make it up, losing 6-5. Los Angeles Times beat writer Jack Harris with columnists Dylan Hernández and Bill Plaschke look at a series the Dodgers are one game away from losing, another early playoff exit.

  1. You know, I HATE MACHADO. No matter how legal he ran down to 2nd base, it just looks like a punk move just like when he stepped on Aguilar's ankles when he ran to 1st base.

  2. I told you that Team Kershaw is never gonna win the real WS ring. Team Ohtani is here but it’s only just begun and flipping is not an overnight process. We need to clean the house completely and start over. Let Muncy, Betts, Rojas, Roberts, Taylor, Barnes go just like we did with JT and Jansen and never looked back. Honestly Taylor and Barnes are not softies but they’re just way past their prime. Sign Bregman, Correa, Bauer, and/or Snell at least.

I said ya’ll gonna learn the lesson hard way. You don’t even have right to get mad. I told you so.

  3. Shohei Ohtani is your best pitcher. His arm should be healed why else would he be throwning bullpen sessions. The reason you paid the guy nearly a billon dollars is for his Arm & Bat. So put him on the mound he cant be as bad as what has been thrown out there.

  4. The Padres starting a starter-level pitcher and the Dodgers making it a bullpen game in the face of elimination. That tells you everything about these two orgs right now. Man we’re so embarrassing…

  5. I think its not just the dodgers, its the 5 day bye. The teams with bye lose like %70 of their series since this started. You play every single day and suddenly you get a week off, not good. Look at Phllies, they were favs to win WS, now theyre down just like Dodgers.

  6. Cease is a "2 pitch pitcher" that threw a no hitter this year….. Ya I like TBD WAAAYYY more than Cease! LOL
I'm looking forward to my Padres obliterating the dodgers bullpen early again tomorrow and watching Jacob come back in for more junk-time.

    LFGSD!

  7. Machado was so far off the base path, that he was able to slide and touch second base. If there is a base path between first and second, why do runners make a wide turn when hitting a triple?

  8. Dylan Hernandez: ya know, blah blah blah, ya know, blah blah blah ya know, blah blah blah ya know, blah blah blah blah ya know, blah blah blah , ya know, ……😂😂😂

  9. Safe to say Dodgers are the laughing stock of MLB right now…. ya'll need a really good chin check. The team AND the fan base are so full of themselves. Y'all have been punching downward for a long time don't start crying now…

  10. Postseason baseball for the Dodgers manager everything else except winning a series 🤷🏻‍♂️if the Dodgers loose this series REPLACE the manager he has no idea how to win in the postseason…there comes a point when blaming players and injuries come to end…

  11. Great show guys! I don’t know how you weren’t popping up in my feed until the third game of the playoffs! Anyway, I really appreciate the insight… So much better than a lot of the Homer fan boys.

  12. The truth is, guys, winning a championship in baseball is tough. We were fortunate to win a championship in a shortened season. Unlike basketball, you can't just put together a superstar trio and expect to win titles in baseball. It's usually a team with one standout player that excels at small ball.

  13. Freeman, Rojas, stone, Kershaw, Glasnow. That’s too many injuries to key players to overcome. Everyone says it’s the same thing every October but every October the Dodgers are always banged up. The training staff and front office need to do a better job.

  14. For people saying it's b/c of SPs, Padres Starters ERA is 6.46 – Dodgers bullpen has been dominant, but team is hitting .216, and their 3 MVPs are hitting a combined .235 w/ a .709 OPS, so of course they're about to be eliminated
