The Chicago White Sox are for sale. Owner Jerry Reinsdorf has decided that now may be the time to part ways with his beloved South Siders, a team he’s owned since 1981. If this is truly the end of an era, then perhaps a quick peek at the past 43 years under Jerry Reinsdorf’s leadership is well deserved.

I dont know if Reinsdorf is cheaper than the Rays owner though. They get rid of players just because they're about to hit arbitration
