It’s not hard to tell. Dodgers are superior, c’mon. They snuffed two best teams in MLB whereas Yankees played with all the confidence in the world and fans all knew they should win. It was like as obvious as them playing Twins in October.
The only reason why the Yankees might win is because anything can happen in the playoffs.
Darryl Strawberry is a Class Act😊
Strawberry was well on his way to a HOF career until drugs took control in 1991 or so. He easily would have hit 500 Hrs had he not missed 7-8 seasons in the prime of his career. I mean, even if he only averaged 25 dingers from 1991-1999 he would have hit well over 550 HRs.
Strawberry knows he is an L.A. guy and loves the Dodgers.
He played for the Mets, Yankees,Dodgers, and Giants. Technically all the Historic New York ball clubs.
Strawberry had the best swing in the game even over Griffey imo
Strawberry did 39-36, a little better than 30-30. Could’ve said 35-35 to give himself a bit more credit.
If Ohtani gets three homers and a stolen base in the World Series, he’ll end the year (regular+postseason) on 60/60.
DODGERS in 7
That shout out was amazing at the end.
Dodgers in 6
Straw still on coke.
I loved you guys brought up Darryl Strawberry, really nice to see the stars from our good 80s back into action. Thanks
the staw hit the longest hr in mlb in montreal.. in 1988.. most people dont know this.. and i saw it
Ohtani didn't do 50/50. He did 55/55
Who's this clown interviewing straw constantly badgering him about his age?
Who tf is he? Did he play? Why is he so arrogant and antagonistic?
Yankees 6
Dodger fan here, both teams are evenly matched, it comes down to who comes up with the big hit, look at there season stats, very close
If Stanton stays hot, the Yanks will be very hard to beat. Yankees in 7.
Darryl won 4 world series not 3. Mets in 86 and with the Yankees in 96,98, and 99.
I am a Yank fan but i went a few times to Shea to watch Darryl hit and Gooden pitch in their prime. 2 of the greatest talents I ever saw!
Fact from a Mets and Gooden/Strawberry fan who grew up watch both play in their primes:
Ohtani = Gooden + Strawberry
Nice to see DS doing good after a long time. I remember that time he was diagnosed with colon cancer and he came back strong💪👍
Pitching wins games. Dodgers bullpen is in shambles.
Baseball misses that Strawberry bat and swing. ❤😮❤
Clown show
I have a feeling that this is gonna come down to Co-Stars: Soto and Betts, Stanton and Muncy….
I wish both teams could lose
I hope Darryl sees this but I used to have a plastic toy figurine of Daryl mid swing when I was a kid and played with it religiously … he’s was an introduction to the game that I had when I was a child and I want to thank him for the memories
Dodgers will win and MVP Ohtani.
imagine how good straw would have been without, the drugs and personal issues
Give some love to the place where you first got noticed Darryl Los Angeles.
First game I ever went to Darryl hit a walkoff for his 300th career HR. Way back in 1996. I'll never forget it.
