I'm also an Astros fan, Fernando use to fill up the Pavillion section in the Astrodome when he was pitching in Houston.
Thank you for sharing. RIP Fernando
I am a Yankee fan, but Fernando Valenzuela become an inmortal on my Yankee heart, unique, extraordinary pitcher, better person, humble in and outside the field, record that needs to in Cooperstown! May his soul rest in peace✝️❤️❤️🙏🏻🛐
I leave in Northern California 45 minutes from the giants but all my life I have been a Dodgers fan thanks to Valenzuela lately there’s more Dodgers fans than giants fans here so the band wagoners left that’s great news go Dodgers 👍
I just didn’t idolize him I collect his autographs I have close to 100 mostly worth 300 plus each but would not sell them even if I was diying of hunger call me whatever but he was my idol rest in peace mi Valenzuela 🙏
I remember watching him play with the San Antonio Dodgers when I was a kid in San Antonio. I was 10yrs old that was 45 years ago, he only played here for a short time before being called up to the majors. And man was it ever an amazing feeling seeing one of us pitching for a major league team like the Dodgers. I’ve been a dodgers fan ever since. Rest In Peace Champ and enjoy playing ball with the greats in that big diamond in the sky.
Im a long time Braves fan. Thankfully I got to see him pitch. He was awesome.
Thank you for posting the full tribute 😢 💙
Fernando Valenzuela was 63 years old when he passed away this week.
Score game 1 of the World Series…Dodgers win 6-3.
RIP El Toro Let’s Win The World Series Dodgers
Great tribute!! Mahalo Fernando!! RIP
What a deserving tribute for this gentleman. Mr. Valenzuela was also an exceptional baseball player who represented his profession in the highest manner. I will never forget him standing on the mound in Montreal, looking up at the sky with his tongue out catching the first snowflakes he ever saw. It was an all too rare glimpse of the goodness and joy in all of us. Thank you for passing our way, God bless you and rest in eternal peace.
Im crying like a child for my biggest idol on the life R.I.P Toro!😭

Puro Valenzuela El Toro Fernando..
Gracias Fernando Valenzuela for making us Mexicans proud. 1981 was unforgettable watching you pitch with the pressure of the game. Jugaste con unos _ bien puestos! I was a little girl recently came to the US and my dad and my mom were so excited watching you. First time watching baseball on tv and all I knew was you looked like my dad dark skinned and fearless and you were the best. You were a role model for us kids. Thank you💙👏🏼✨️✨️
